We are delighted to have won The Good Hotel Guide César Award “Irish Guest House of the Year” for 2015.

In our small family run country house we aim to make each guest feel at home. On arrival we invite you to relax by the fire in our cosy drawing room whilst enjoying a pot of artisan leaf tea or freshly brewed coffee with homemade biscuits. We have a passion for local, seasonal produce which John showcases in our daily dinner menu. Our orchard provides fruits for desserts, chutneys and preserves, and is home to our friendly chickens who lay wonderful eggs for breakfast. Homegrown vegetables also feature in our dinner menu. For those wanting to experience the infamous Ulster Fry we use the best local produce and breads all freshly cooked to order.

Set on the edge of a small village Newforge House boasts mature gardens which provide an oasis of calm and make it the perfect location for a romantic break. The house and gardens are available for exclusive hire, making it a wonderful venue for an intimate family gathering, or a magical small wedding.

Our central location also makes Newforge a perfect base for touring Northern Ireland, with Lough Neagh around the corner and Belfast just 30 minutes drive.

We hope to welcome you to our lovely house soon.
