Thatchways ia a fabulous thatched cottage full of charm and character. It sits high above the village of Crackington Haven and has the most spectacular views out to sea. Only a couple of minutes walk to the beach it is perfect for a family holiday. The property is perfect for those who want to escape and rediscover a good old fashioned beach holiday. Inside there are 5 bedrooms and so it can easily accommodate 10 people. However, because of its character and charm it feels comfortable for just a couple if you don;t want to go away in a big group. There is a pretty garden with outside furniture and also free use of a tennis court just down the road. From the garden there are views of the beach and out to sea and it is the perfect spot to watch the sun setting. The house itself is very well equipped and is full of loved items typical of a seaside retreat making it a very special property. There is an open fire in the sitting room and a range cooker in the kitchen. There is no TV at the property but it does have Internet access.

"Perfect Cornish Getaway"
It has a magnificent position, set in the cliffs above Crackington Haven. The spot was a perfect location in a quite and secluded bay on the Atlantic coast. The house itself is so unique I doubt that anywhere can match the holiday feeling you get as soon as you arrive. The location in which it sits also gives you a vista of the bay from the wonderfully designed garden. The beach is only a few minutes walk and there are two great cafes on route that provide a lot more than the basics, to high standard and quality.
Many thanks for such a lovely review. We are so pleased you enjoyed your time here. Kind regards, the team at Cornish Seaview Cottages.

"Idyllic hideaway nestled into the North Cornish cliffs"
Thatchways is perched above Crackington Haven, a gem of the North Cornish Coast. Built in the 1930's, the house is charming, relaxing and feels as if it is plucked from the pages of 'The Famous Five'. It easily sleeps 10, including a room with 2 singles and a bunk room. The views from the lovely garden are breathtaking and there is space for barbecuing, outside dining and a particularly appealing sitting area which is ideal for reading or watching the ocean. Our party included grandparents, parents, young adults and grandchildren and we all loved living there. The house is a very short walk to the beach, pub and cafes, but beware, there are over 50 steps from the road to the garden with no vehicular access.
