Five bedroom family home with three bathrooms, one of which is ensuite. Bedrooms are set up as: 1 double, 4 rooms that each have 1 double bed + 1 single bed. There are 3 bedrooms on the 1st floor, and 2 bedrooms (where you walk through one to get to the other) on the 2nd floor. Small back yard with seating area and off road parking for one car. Downstairs comprises large kitchen dining area with a table that will sit 12 people, and large reception room, one section of which can be converted to form a 'bedroom' using a single sofa bed.

The England region

The Isle of Wight is a great location for that quick get away weekend or week. There is something about getting on a boat to get to your destination that already makes you feel like you are on holiday.... Once on the Island you have a little bit of everything all mixed in with the feeling in some areas of a little time warp. There is so much history, a large amount connected with past Royal families as it was one of Queen Victoria’s favourite places, and with her came London gentry leaving some amazing heritage and properties on the Island. The Island is geared to families and more to the point children. There are great walks, parks and a petting zoo.. In and around the Island you will find a large number of great traditional inns where you can get a pub lunch or early dinner after taking part in one of the many sporting activates available on the Island.These activities could include sailing windsurfing, gold, flying, cycling rock climbing, really the options are endless.

Cowes

Cowes has been the one of the UKs hubs for yachting for as long as l can remember. The whole place has a feel of the ocean, travel and the mariner. You can find many bars restaurants and boutiques throughout the town all based around this feel and life style. You will also note that some of the key locations on the water front are owned by Yacht Clubs of which there are many. In fact its a really nice walk from one end of Cowes heading out to Gurnard on the water front past the Royal Yacht Squadron. Once in Gurnard you will find a great place for coffee or breakfast.

“This place is so great we have been back again!”

I have stayed here twice with extended family. The house is spacious and comfortable with great style. The property is located in a great spot with easy walking access to Cowes, a variety of shops, pubs and restaurants. We enjoyed cycling to Gurnard and the kids liked the library opposite that ran story telling and the chain ferry down the road that we would cross over on a foot passengers just for fun.

We had a really great holiday over Easter this year. The accommodation was very roomy and had good bathroom facilities [which does detract from the dining room space a bit]. There was ample table space though. It was useful to have 2 adjoining lounges so that two separate activities could be carried out but people could all be together if desired. It is a bit tricky to decide how to sleep people as there are several rooms with a double and a single bed, but it is also flexible. Sound travels inside the property, so dont visit with noisy people if you like peace and quiet! The property is very near amenities, which is great, but if you have more than one car, ask for a visitors, parking scratch card beforehand.
