Description

A superb house in the Cowes recently refurbished to a high standard overlooking the marina with its own pontoon. The house has central heating and double glazing.

This modern town house split over 4 levels has a large fully fitted kitchen including a dishwasher, fridge freezer, microwave and double oven. The kitchen leads onto the covered balcony that looks out over the marina and the Solent. The dining room with a large table and seating for 12. The sitting room and adjoining covered balcony has stunning views directly over the garden, jetty and Marina easily accommodating 12 guests, it has a large cable tv and sound bar.

On the 1st, and 2nd floors there are 4 twin rooms, 2 of these rooms can also be made up into superking beds and 2 bath/shower rooms and on the 3rd floor is the master bedroom with a superking bed and a view too good to describe there is also a separate shower room on this floor.

On the lower ground floor there is a large utility room housing the washing machine and tumble drier another twin bedroom again with stunning views over the harbour and a wet room.

Access to the large covered outside/inside dining area with big table and seating for 12 plus a bar area (drinks not supplied), steps lead down to the enclosed garden with more seating and gate onto the pontoon, use of the pontoon and mooring is tidal.

There is also a covered in seating area which can double up as a safe play area for children or a perfect drying area for wet sailing gear, a study area and off road parking.

Although the house is large and suitable for large groups or generations of families it can also be a fantastic get away for a couple or smaller groups, discounts are offered for groups of 6 or less.

The house is just minutes away from the charming town centre with its many and varied restaurants and bars, 5 minutes walk from the Red Jet high speed passenger service from the mainland and close to sailing clubs and the Marina.

A lovely house in a great location in Cowes, with a fantastic sea view. It was a good base to tour round and see the island. The facilities at the house were of a high standard with a beautiful garden and BBQ area. Carol made us feel very welcome with some delicious scones on arrival. Thank you Carol it made for a wonderful relaxing break on the Island.

Our stay at Alban house was wonderful. We were a party of twelve and had plenty of room for everyone to relax and for the children to play. The location of the property is fantastic with amazing views. Plenty of pubs within walking distance that could accommodate us all even during the school holidays which was great. We managed to visit all the main locations on the island having lots of fun along the way. We cannot thank Carol enough the cakes and Scones were very welcomed on our arrival and for your help during our stay. We would highly recommend staying in this property. Thanks Debbie

“An excellent house for a family Christmas, and a great location for summer visitors.”

Twelve of us spent our family Christmas in Alban house and it was perfect. The house is lovely, great location, spotlessly clean, warm and comfortable. Carol could not have been more welcoming, and helpful with all our questions. The house was decorated for Christmas, so all we had to do was unpack our things and enjoy. We would definitely stay again, and highly recommend Alban House.

The house is fantastic. The location is stunning and the owner Carol really went the extra mile. There was gifts for the children and home made cakes. The house was spotless and everything that you could possibly want is provided. Definitely recommend 100%

If Carol (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
