Get up have a stroll along the beach, on our private bay, then sit outside and have breakfast while looking at the beautiful view and watching the boats sail by, you may want to spend time with your children on the beach, go fishing, bird watching, ( i can arrange a days boat fishing), painting or exploring the coastal footpath that is right on your doorstep. There is no TV, so step back in time when families could actually talk, and just enjoy being together or, if you can tear yourself away from Cedar Croft take time to explore our beautiful Island, there is so much to see and do! In the evenings enjoy the famous and spectacular sunsets over a glass of wine or curl up in front of the cosy log fire! “A peaceful total retreat from the pace of life.”

Reviewed 14 Aug 2016

If your looking for a total retreat this is it. Off the beaten tract, quiet & peaceful. Amazing views over the Solent. If you want to venture out it's location is good for many of the island's attractions, with excellent eating houses 10 to 15 minutes away. There is a camp sight across the bay in short walking distance if you don't want to drive. The chalet is solar powered for it's electricity - ample for lighting and charging mobile phones, but if you are the type that needs to use straighteners, hair dryers or heated rollers this holiday is not for you. Shower, cooker and fridge is powered by gas, so there are no concerns there. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back.

“Peaceful views, quiet night sleeps - nice accomodation”

Reviewed 23 Jun 2016

Cedar Croft is a lovely beach lodge situated down a fairly long farm track nestling with several other chalets overlooking the solent. The directions and check in information supplied was very good - Linen and towels were all prepared and the rooms were clean. We had adequate electricity for our stay. As mentioned in other reviews the gas fridge was out of action but a coolbox was provided which was just about adequate for the two of us. The bed was comfortable and the quiet nights allowed some good sleeps. Waking up to look out over the calm sea was very relaxing. Would we use this chalet again? Yes.
