Owner's reply: Thank you for your kind review, we do hope to welcome you back again in the future.

“Beautiful well equipped cottage.”

Reviewed 29 Jan 2018

Group of 7 Uni friends stayed for the weekend. We've been doing yearly get together for 10 years and this is the most comfortable and best equipped cottage we've stayed at. Knives that actually cut, measuring scales, enough pots and pans etc plenty of children's eating stuff too (left the kids at home so didn't try it). We didn't run out of toilet roll either! Owners were lovely, available to show us round and came straight over when we had an issue with the fire alarm. Location is lovely, we went for a nice walk round Rutland water. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Owner's reply: Thank you for your great review, we are so pleased that you all enjoyed your stay with us last weekend. Apologies about the fire alarm deciding to randomly go off, I hope that it didn’t disturb your afternoon. We do hope to welcome you all back in the future.

“Lovely accommodation to a get together for new year”

Reviewed 2 Jan 2018

This property is immaculate. We arrived to fresh bread, eggs and milk and not forgetting The home baked mince pies. The beds were comfortable the showers were powerful. Very spacious in all the rooms. The garden is a fabulous size unfortunately we didn't make much use of it due to it being December and there was snow there on our arrival. There is a shop over the road and a chip shop within walking distance. We went to the Sun inn for Sunday lunch.... beautiful home cooked quality food. The best roast I have had in a while and very reasonably priced. The village itself is lovely and quiet with beautiful properties to have a nosy around. Would defintley return here. Thank you Katie.

Owner's reply: Thank you for your lovely review, so pleased that you all enjoyed New Year at the cottage & hope to welcome you again.

“Wow, stunningly beautiful traditional cottage”

Reviewed 19 Aug 2017

Wow, stunningly beautiful traditional cottage, perfectly restored and maintained to very high standards. Very comfortable, fully functional for our family of ten holiday for four days. Very well equipped with everything you need and every piece was great quality with a lot of thought given. Set in a beautiful and peaceful countryside of Lincolnshire and close to Rutland Water, this was the perfect setting. Thank you from your guests having travelled from Herefordshire and Canada!

Owner's reply: Thank you for your kind review Simon, so pleased that you all enjoyed your stay with us, we hope to welcome you again in the future.
