Millhayes is a four-bedroom house with a separate one-bedroom annexe. It combines every modern convenience - a spacious kitchen and dining area and wireless broadband, with traditional cottage features - a log burning stove, beams and inglenooks. It offers flexible self-catering accommodation, ideal for families or small groups.

Millhayes has two good-sized living rooms - the family room has large sofas and flat screen TV and the sitting room has a wood burning stove, large sofa and armchairs, sound system and has a more traditional feel. The kitchen is spacious and well-equipped and opens onto a stunning conservatory dining area with full-length windows on three sides giving spectacular views across the garden and valley beyond. The four bedrooms in the house are beautifully furnished and have lovely views. The bathroom and shower room are luxuriously fitted out. The thatched annexe is ideal for anyone who would like a little extra privacy or seclusion. It has a spacious double bedroom with a vaulted ceiling, TV, DVD and tea and coffee making facilities. An ensuite shower room completes this self-contained eerie!

The garden is about an acre in size with terraces and lawned areas near the house; plenty of secluded spots to sit and read, admire the views, or just do nothing! Millhayes is surrounded by a variety of shrubs and traditional cottage flowers and, as a result, there is an abundance of birdlife. There is a large garden table and chairs on one of the terraces. The garden slopes downwards with an array of mature trees including willow, cherry and apple.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Judy (the owner) a message.

If Judy (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
