This magnificent villa is located at 400 m from the lovely town of Cortona, one of the most beautiful and renowned towns of Tuscany. An important Etruscan settlement, Cortona today is a medieval jewel on the side of a hill dominating the Val di Chiana.

This elegant villa is situated in a wonderful panoramic position, surrounded by the typical Tuscan countryside and olive groves, in a perfect location for a lovely and relaxing holiday, yet with the advantages of being within walking distance from the town centre.

The property consists of two independent villas, at 50 m from each other, that can either be both rented together, accommodating up to 12/15 people, or separately. Each house has its own private swimming-pool (both ca. 4x8 m, open May-Sept) with a panoramic view over the Val di Chiana and the beautiful church of Santa Maria Nuova.

The main villa has an infinity edge pool while the outbuilding's has lovely Roman steps: the perfect spot to enjoy the landscape “Under the Tuscan Sun”. Other facilities are a car park, barbecue, washing machine and tumble dryer (on request).

Also available: tastings, breakfast, lunch, dinner and cooking lessons. The main villa, 270 sq. m, can comfortably accommodate 8/10 people (four double bedrooms, with the possibility of adding a single bed in two rooms) and is furnished with all comforts (air conditioning, Sat-TV, Wi-Fi internet, radio/CD/DVD player, safe). In the basement there is a huge living room with fireplace and a lavatory. On the ground floor there is a fully equipped kitchen (oven, fridge, dishwasher, toaster, kettle, microwave oven, coffee machine etc.), a living room with dining area, and two double bedrooms with a beautiful view. One bedroom has a bathroom fitted out with hydro massage shower and the other a bathroom fitted out with bathtub plus a room with Turkish bath with shower. On the first floor of the villa are the other two double bedrooms, both with their own panoramic view. Each bedroom has a bathroom fitted out with both a hydro massage bathtub and a hydro massage shower. Hairdryers available. Windows with mosquito nets.

The outbuilding, 65 sq. m, is a charming detached house on two floors and can comfortably accommodate up to 4/5 people. It consists of a living room with fireplace (possibility of adding a single bed) and fully equipped kitchenette, a double bedroom and on the gallery another bedroom which can be double or twin. Bathroom fitted out with shower. Facilities: air conditioning, Sat-TV, Wi-Fi internet, radio/CD/DVD player, safe, windows with mosquito nets.

On arrival there will be a welcome basket with homemade products:

-Welcome grocery basket (vegetable & fruit basket, milk, water, soft drinks, american coffee, espresso pods, sugar, salt, pepper, toilet paper, paper napkins, paper towel, baking paper, tinfoil, clingwrap).

In Cortona, thus within walking distance, guests will find restaurants, shops, museums and many works of art. Other beautiful Tuscan art cities easily reached are Montepulciano (at 30 km), Pienza (45 km), Montalcino (65 km), Siena (75 km) and Florence (90 km).
