The tourist town of Great Yarmouth with its numerous restaurants and attractions is 6 miles to the north. Although we prefer the quieter town of Gorleston on sea with its lovely beaches and cafe. The Pier hotel and Cliff hotel next to Gorleston beach are our favourites for a meal or drink out.

Location description from owner

The East Anglia region

Corton is a small coastal village 3 miles north of Lowestoft on the Suffolk/Norfolk border, home to the popular tourist attraction of Pleasurewood Hills, nearby are the long, golden sandy beaches of Gorleston-on-sea.

The Lodge provides the ideal base from which to explore the many Seaside attractions of Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft, also the nearby Oulton Broad (Southern gateway to the Norfolk & Suffolk Broads) and the Fine City of Norwich with its Norman Castle and stunning Cathedral not forgetting its status as one of the top ten shopping destinations in Britain.

Corton

The cliffs and beach at Corton form part of a stretch of Suffolk coastline known as the 'Sunrise Coast' and Ness-Point in Lowestoft is the UK's most easterly point - which means you can sit in the Hot tub and be among the first to greet the sun.

There are two pubs in Corton both serve food.

There is a village shop in Corton and a large Tesco superstore is approximately one mile away.
