If you're into cycling or horse riding, there are numerous scenic places to ride. This is a walker's paradise with stunning walks just out of the front door & Cadair Idris just a few minutes away. If you love the sun & sand there are miles of sweeping sandy beaches on the sunny Cambrian Coast in Tywyn, Aberdovey or Barmouth just 30 mins away. The world famous Centre for Alternative Technology is very close by.

THE ACCOMMODATION:

LIVING/DINING ROOM:

From the front door off the terrace (where guests can sit and enjoy the peace & quiet), there is a lovely spacious living area, which has an original stripped pine floor. The WOW factor is a wood burner set into a slate fireplace and feature wall. There is a 2 seater leather settee and a leather arm chair, locally crafted coffee table, 20” flat screen TV with FREESAT, CD/DVD, PlayStation 3 & books and games. Drop leaf table and 2 chairs.

KITCHEN:

This separate, Magnet Hi-Gloss,designer kitchen, is really superb and equipped with everything you would expect in a property of this standard, including a movable island/wooden block, a NEFF induction hob, NEFF built in oven and microwave, a Magimix & espresso coffee machine. A superb range of other appliances, including a tall fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and additionally, the kitchen boasts an amazing ‘Clear View’ wood burner & stove for cooking, using cast iron pans & AGA cooking accessories. Views over the rear garden area, the steam and the mountains in the foreground. An original stripped pine floor.

Off the kitchen the stairs lead to the 1st floor.

UPSTAIRS:

Lovely shabby chic Master bedroom.

Views over the front terrace, the village, stream to the side and the mountains in the foreground. Sleeps 2. Double sized bed. 2 bedside tables, twin pine wardrobe, 5 draw chest of drawers, easy chair, an original stripped pine floor.

Front terrace with a ‘bistro’ table & chairs for ‘Al Fresco’ dining. Lovely village location, just a few paces to a great little coffee shop and deli and the Slaters Arms nearby. Chill out and enjoy the peace & quite with the Snowdonia mountains as a backdrop.

Friday changeovers in the main season..

There is a £29.95 booking fee and a minimum charge of £199 applies to any stay. We also ask for a £150 security deposit, which is refundable providing there are no breakages or damage to the property.

Prices inclusive of electric, bedding & towels. Please bring your own beach towels.

PET FREE so no pets sorry and sadly not ready suitable for children.

We request a 25% deposit on booking, with the balance due 8 weeks before the arrival date.

Surrounded by The Snowdonia National Park, Corris is ideally situated for whatever type of holiday you are looking for. Whatever you're into: fishing, surfing, kite boarding, sailing, mountain biking, bird watching, painting, landscape photography and more here are endless scenic places to explore.

This region of Wales is without doubt a 'hidden gem' with some of the most spectacular scenery in Britain. This is a walker's paradise with Cader Idris just a few minutes drive away! Snowdon is only 60 minutes by car.

Don't worry if you're not the active type, the flat & effortless Mawddach Trail, featured in Julia Bradbury's 'Great Railway Walks' program, is accessible to everyone and takes you on a journey along one of the UK's most spectacular estuaries, brimming with wildlife.

There are miles of beautiful unspoilt sandy beaches, as well as many local attractions, such as the Talyllyn Narrow Gauge Railway, which steams from Tywyn up to the mystical Dolgoch Falls. Just a few miles away is the stunning Talyllyn Lake. Just a few minutes away from Corris, is the world renowned 'Centre for Alternative Technology' or (CAT) which is a fascinating place to visit and learn also The Corris Craft Centre and King Arthurs Labyrinth, another 'must visit' place.

CAT is within walking distance and there's a great bus service of 10 buses a day to the village, so great for eco-friendly minded guests or those on the many holiday/art/activity courses on offer in the area.There is also have a gallery with visiting artists in the village, and a Heritage Railway with its own Museum and shop. On a national cycle route too, with great walking, birdspotting and bridle paths to explore
