Bahiazul is a luxury development of detached villas within a manned gated community. From the Villa Bougambilla itself you can enjoy some on site facilities, plus there are nearby shops for those essential holiday necessities.

On the roof terrace of Villa Bougambilla, as well as the views to the sea and natural landscape, you can also enjoy cooking outdoors on the barbecue and catch the last of the rays of sun as it sets behind the mountains. Also within the property, you can enjoy the lagoon style pool which is lit during the evenings, and also has complete privacy. The property also offers guest Satellite television, DVD player, a fully fitted kitchen including a washing machine for those wishing to stay longer. The en-suite bedrooms are located to the left of the pool and entrance is via the poolside and each are individual.

linen/maid service: Towels and linen provided for the arrival (no charge). The villa is cleaned once every fourth day your stay. Extra pool and interior cleaning (including new towels and linen) available.

Further details outdoors

The property has integrated planted areas and window boxes which have tall tropical plants, trees and shrubs. There is ample outdoor furniture for six people plus, which include, loungers, dining areas and chairs. The pool is of a lagoon style which is completely private. The pool area is decorated in both volcanic rock and foliage. Beside the pool there is also another shower. There are stylish pergolas both around the pool and on the roof terrace to provide shade against the midday heat. On the roof terrace garden there is also planting, further seating, fitted barbecue and a sink. The front of the property is maintained by Bahiazul gardeners and ground staff, the same as the communal areas.

The pool heating (approx. 25ºc.) is available from 1st November until 30th May every year.

The Canary Islands region

The nearest beach is Flag Beach which is around 1.5km away. (5 mins by car or 30 mins walking). This beautiful white sandy beach is popular with wind/kite surfers or those wishing to top-up their all over tans! The beach is very big and never suffers from over crowding. The beach stretches some 6 miles and is arguably one of the best on the island. There are smaller beaches around Corralejo harbour which too are excellent for swimming and sunbathing plus there are many bars available.

Corralejo

Central Corralejo is around 1.5km away or approximately 25-30 minutes walk. (Not recommended with small children). Other popular destinations include the lovely old town of El Cotillo which is approximately 15km away or the capital of the island, Puerto del Rosario where you can spend all day shopping without worrying about afternoon siestas interrupting your spending, at the new Rotunda shopping centre. Puerto is around 30km away or approximately 25 minutes by car.

“As I looked around, I constantly found myself smiling.”

My wife and I together with my wife's friend and 12 year old stayed at the Bougambilla over Easter this year and had an excellent holiday. The resort team cannot be faulted. Absolutely excellent, each and every one. this was the key to an fantastic weeks holiday. We had some breakfasts and evening meals at the resort restaurant which were very nice and quite reasonable but mainly had lunch and dinner in town. There were some very minor problems, usually us not knowing how something worked but the team had no hesitation in attending to put things right. We had the maid service for a couple of days throughout our stay which I would strongly recommend. Two very busy fantastic girls and worth their weight in gold. The villa was immaculate and very well presented. We had a BBQ on the roof on 2 evenings and listened to south american jazz on the radio through the audio system. I did read some of the reviews which highlights some issues with the villa. This did give me some concern prior to arrival but thankfully, we did not encounter any problems. My verdict, 8.5/10...always room for improvement.

“Beautiful”

We stayed at Villa Bougambilla for two weeks in August 2012. It was absolutely lovely. There is so much space in the villa; the pool and jacuzzi were perfect temperatures in the summer; and the roof terrace is huge. We felt that this villa was extremely good value for money, especially as it included cleaning and linen changes. The pool was cleaned about 3/4 times during our stay. Even though it is on a complex, we rarely heard our neighbours, and it is very pretty and charming. We had read some of the mixed reviews about the villa/complex. but we felt that both exceeded our expectations. There are small things like having to juggle how many electrical appliances are on at any one time, but they didn't take anything away from our time there. We have rented many villas/apartments in Spain and France over the past few years and this is definitely one of the best. The old part of Coralejo is also absolutely lovely with lots of good restaurants and nice bars. Flag beach is also beautiful, and Los Lobos and El Cotillo definitely worth a visit. Sven and Pascal were extremely helpful and accommodating. We loved this villa, Bahiazul and Coralejo generally, and we're definitely going back!

“Perfect, just like the photos!”

5 of us stayed in this villa in June for 11 nights including a 3 year old, we were a little worried once we'd booked it just in case it wasn't as nice as it looks in the photos, but as soon as we arrived we were stunned, it was perfect. There is lots of space and all very clean, every bedroom has its own bathroom which was very handy when getting ready for the evenings. After reading reviews we were slightly worried about the surface being slippy with the little one, but as long as you didnt run around you were fine! There was no cooker/oven but we managed without. Pool was cold but it was ideal in the hot weather because you got used to the temperature straight away, jacuzzi on the other hand was heated so was lovely but we used it less as the holiday went on because the days just got hotter! Roof terrace is perfect for sunbathing and catching a lovely tan. We went down to the town a lot in the evenings and although we had hired a car we caught a taxi down each time and it was no more than 4 euros, lots of restaurants to choose from. Would recommend Waikiki beach bar/restaurant. Overall a fab holiday, we really didn't want to leave! Thank you Cesar!

“Superbe villa Bougambilla”

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette villa en Mai 2012. La villa est tout à fait conforme à la description de l'annonce de M. Fernandez. Sven et Pascal sont là pour vous accueillir et vous installer dans la villa. La location est somptueuse, très propre, très bien équipée (un four dans la cuisine serait un plus...). En Mai toutes les villas ne sont pas occupées et donc il y règne un calme absolu. Le beau temps étant de la partie (environ 23 à 25°) nous avons pu profiter de la piscine (magnifique lagon avec sa végétation luxuriante) et du jacuzzi...le top du top. Avons profité également du barbecue sur la terrasse sur le toit de la villa. Nos enfants ont pris leurs petits déjeuners au restaurant de la résidence Bahiazul et ont beaucoup appréciés. La résidence est sécurisée, c'est un plus Nous recommandons vivement cette résidence et location
