“Highly reccomended beautiful, homely Villa!”

Reviewed 26 Dec 2017

I would highly reccomend this villa to anyone who wants a homely, relaxing holiday! Due to the Monarch airline collapse we had to book alternative flights with different dates, however The owner Adel was fantastic and agreed to change dates around with no problem! Adel had been so helpful arranging transfers for us with Steve and Jill a super friendly Geordie couple who made us feel so welcome from the start! As we arrived in the evening on a Sunday the Mercadona (local supermarket accross the road) was closed, but Adel had asked if we would like a few Steve & Jill had got some in...Tamara (the housekeeper) had also got some bits and bobs for us including a pizza and some deserts which was so helpful and kind of her, especially having a 22 month old it was nice to be able to chill in for the first night. We later met her in the week, when she came to clean the pool. She is such a down to earth, knowledgeable, lovely lady. We had a great chat and our little girl loved her too! The villa itself was really clean, cosy and equipped with everything you may need. I really enjoyed cooking their and eating outside on the terrace especially in the evening with the lights by the pool, perfect ambiance. The TV had english channels and we purchased WIFI for €15 unlimited use which was fantastic. The terrace is gorgeous and is a sun trap! We enjoyed many hours lying/sitting outside and our little girl had loads of fun playing outside and dipping her feet in the pool! It was a little cold for her to swim as it was around 19/20 degrees (Being December) most days and as pool is unheated I was probably being a bit over cautious...but if it were slightly warmer we would have definately had a swim - it was so inviting... The rooms were cosy and in the wardrobe there was a travel cot which was so useful for us having a toddler, there were plenty of towels and even a pushchair in the wardrobe! A washing machine also meant we could wash most out clothes before returning which was a winner for me. There is a pizeria on the front of the complex, however we didn't eat here as cooked most days. The Mercadona opposite is a massive supermarket and you should be able to get all of your shopping from here. The freshly squeezed orange juice is amazing and would recommend... About 10 minute walk down the road there is more shops, a british shop (selling English items that are hard to get hold of elsewhere i.e oats, sausages...) we enjoyed icecream and coffee at la secreto (i think that's what its called)! A further 20 minute walk will take you in to the town where there are loads of shops, shopping mall, cafe's, restaurants. We spent quite a bit of time at avenida Maritima on the beach front. Our favourite resturant was 'mi casa' and the cocktails were fab from Agua bar! Being 5 months pregnant it was lovely being able to have virgin cocktails too (and little girl enjoyed them as well) We cant wait to return!

“Great place!”

We loved our stay, nice appartment and quiet area, so could fully enjoy chilling out. Has a fab outside space, and love not having to share the pool with others. Large supermarket next door fab. And for Eur 4.50 taxi ride into town great value. Good selection of DVD’s in the house too and very friendly and prompt response by the host. Will come back! Many thanks

“100% recommended”

stayed here for a relaxing long weekend and throughly enjoyed our stayed. The pictures on here do not do the apartment justice so we was pleasantly surprised on arrival! Owner organised airport transport which was superb and driver really friendly and helpful. Apartment was very clean on arrival and the last person had kindly left some refreshments in the fridge which was much appreciated after the traveling. TV had everything you could want with free films for the family. Was great having the supermarket opposite and the journey down town was pleasant. Was about €5 each way including a tip but we walked down which was about 30 mins and then taxi back. I would recommend this apartment to young couples, family's and fully intend to return for longer. We also went to oasis park on our visit which run smoothly and the coach pick us up from the nearby hotel I would also recommend this as a fun family day out

“Fantasticly situated with everything you need :)”

Reviewed 2 Jan 2017

We had a short break 4 nights over New Year. I must say the apartment is lovely and clean two bedrooms both with double beds. A lovely big bathroom with a bath and overhead shower, toilet, bidet and two sinks. The kitchen- diner is lovely and has everything that you need a lovely big TV with access to lots of channels far more than we could look at! There are DVD's there too - so if you have kids and want to take them something to keep them occupied then you can. The pool is lovely we didn't use it as it wasn't warm enough (pool is not heated) but would be great in the summer months. There is a safe in the apartment - which is a fantastic plus. We were left fantastic instructions from the people who look after the apartment with all their numbers should you need them for anything. The complex is across the road from the main supermarket easy walking distance. And if you walk down towards the town you come upon some shops and restaurants and Nikos Belgian Bar - you can get a Taxi there into town which costs about 3 Euros. We caught a taxi back from the main town which cost around 5 Euros. I think this apartment is wonderful and ideally situated - we did hire a car and you can park across the road from the apartment although I do understand that there is a designated parking space - you will need to tell the owner you need it prior to arrival if you are going to be using this. The only downside I would say is that there are a lot of dogs in the area - which bark. To be honest it didn't really bother us at all but might be a bug bear to others. We could not fault this apartment and would most definitely go again.

“Perfect Location”

Reviewed 23 Oct 2016

Stayed in this ground floor apartment with it's own private pool for four weeks and weren't disappointed at all, the apartment had everything you required from Tv to cooking facilities and Internet it was just perfect for our requirements, supermarket on your doorstep for all your essentials and it was close to the golf course and a few local bars nearby and about twenty minute walk to the next cluster of shops/bars and restaurants the another twenty minutes walk into all the excitement of Corralejo Main Street with an abundance of bars, restaurants and something for everyone and you also have Tamara at hand who visits weekly to attend the pool and to address any problems you may encounter but the only thing we required from her is her fantastic knowledge of the island and local area.I would recommend hiring of a car as it's such a beautiful island but it's not essential if your only using Corralejo itself as taxis are in abundant and you can always do an excursion from many tourist offices in Main Street
