“clicked all the boxes, much needed relaxing rest, hot tub did it for us plus the view”

Reviewed 4 Jan 2013

The apartment was well equipped, and has a stunning sun roof with views across to lanzarote and the coast, with volcanic mountains behind. The hot tub was fab to come back to after a day out, especially as it was a little chilly in the evenings, and secluded! Days were hot and sunny, lovely for a winter break. A short walk to local bars, no need for a car if you dont mind a walk to town. Lots of information at the apartment about days out, would reccomend quad/buggy ride to El Cortillo, and the zoo by coach was fab. As we spent most evenings in, would have liked more channels on the sky tv, but there are plenty of good dvd's and playstation, board games too. We loved it, and would be great for a family to, as there is a very large swimming pool in the small and very secure complex, but too cold in the winter to swim unless you are very hardy! Would reccommend to couples and friends for fun break, and families for great days out and sandy beaches, a fantastic apartment to come back to at the end of the day, or chill out on the terrace with some local bubbly!

“Peace and Tranquility”

We stayed in this beautiful well kept villa for a week in October 2012. It was the most peaceful and relaxing holiday we have both had in a long time. The owners Paul and Shelly were very friendly and communicated well throughout the booking procedure and their instructions on how to find and access the villa were second to none. No problems what so ever experienced. The villa itself is very private and quiet. It comprises of an enclosed relaxing outdoor terrace which houses the wonderful hot tub. There is also a partially covered space with a comfortable seating and dining area. From the lower terrace you can access the very private roof terrace via a spiral staircase. From the roof you can expect to experience panoramic view across Fuerteventura over to Playa Blanca on Lanzarote. The terrace is also well furnished with dining area and comfortable sun loungers. The villa itself is equipt with everything you will need to enjoy a home away from home. It’s clean, spacious, and everything works. The complex itself is very quite with a lovely communal pool which was deserted when we stayed so a full sized pool to ourselves. There is a brand new Mercadona supermarket situated at the top of the hill behind the villa which caters for all your needs, and also a convenient bar located just across the road if you are in need of a watering hole. The Villa is situation on the outskirts of Corralejo, but there are a few bars on route and a nearby taxi rank. A taxi into the town was just 5 Euros. However, we enjoyed a walk into town most days which took around 20-30 minutes. Corralejo itself is a beautiful busy town, full of busy restaurants and shops, some designer and some usual souvenir but all with competitive prices. The harbour is well worth a visit and is fantastic for a drink/lunch or dinner while people watching in front of a magnificent view across to Lanzarote. We would also recommend you hire bikes and cycle down to the amazing beaches situated just outside of the resort. Some of the most beautiful beaches we have ever seen and are on par with the Caribbean. We would also suggest you try some of the local Tapas bars but visit the old town away from the town centre and look out some of the restaurant s in the back streets behind the main drag. La Chama is in the old town of Corralejo a really lovely tapas restaurant serving real Spanish food. The waiters are friendly and talk you through each course which just keeps on coming until you are full. A most enjoyable holiday and would recommend to couples and families alike. We hope to return in the near future. Karen & James

“Absolute Bliss”

this was our first time in the canary islands and we usually go all inclusive and at least 4 star plus, we have stayed in some beautiful hotels including sandals in St Lucia and i can honestly say we have never had such a wonderful time as we did here. corralejo is a great place and the villa is just perfect for chilling, it was wonderful to not have to listen to other peoples conversations whilst sunbathing, get a drink whenever we wanted, the hot tub was fantastic.. the bed was very comfy and everything worked well in the villa, communication from Paul was great and prices in town at bars and restaurants very competitive, the supermarket was cheaper than tescos and had all we needed. would have liked a pool if we where there in summer but hopefully this will be open again in the near future. we spent one of the most relaxing and enjoyable christmas and new years we have had in many years, the weather was hot enough for sunbathing for at least 6 hours of every day , thank you Paul we will be reccomending and will most certainly be back. Regards Angela & Ron
