Description

Built in 1876 and recently imaginatively and tastefully renovated this 5 star converted chapel overlooks the village green in the quiet Dorset village of Sturminster Marshall and is just a short walk from a welcoming pub. The sophisticated accommodation has been arranged in a reverse level with a spacious open plan lounge that features the original beams with a gallery overlooking the formal dining area giving views of the green through the chapel windows. The large, modern designer kitchen/diner opens onto a sheltered sunny rear courtyard garden with table and chairs, we recommend The Old Chapel very highly.

“Amazing. We have had a wonderful week and are struggling to go home. This was a brilliant base to see the gorgeous Dorset coast.”

Accommodation: Ground floor kitchen/diner, ceramic hob, 1 ½ ovens, fridge/freezer, ice maker, microwave, dishwasher and dining area. Utility room with washing machine and dryer. Formal dining area. Bedroom 1, double bed,

The England region

Few areas of the UK, or even Europe, have a lure greater than the beautiful South West. From dramatic Dartmoor to the stunning coastline that never fails to leave visitors wishing they could stay just that little bit longer. While away your days in market towns and quaint villages that retain their tradition whilst now offering fine dining and excellent shopping, or leave the townships behind and head to any one of the outstanding sandy beaches that dot the coast. It's impossible not to fall in love with lazy, relaxed South West, its scenery, attractions, and it's otherworldly pace of life.
