Description from owner

Description

"Maison La Martinié" is situated in the famed "Golden Triangle" of the Tarn and nestles at the top of a hill enjoying breathtaking views of Cordes-Sur-Ciel. The house enjoys a rural countryside location in a small hamlet with 5 other houses.

Maison La Martinié is the original farmhouse of the hamlet dating back approximately 200 years and sits in 2.5 acres of its own private land. It enjoys spectacular South-Westerly uninterrupted views across the rolling countryside towards Cordes-Sur-Ciel.

In the last few years it has undergone a major refurbishment & extension and so consists of a main sitting room which has a large wood burner, two large squashy comfy sofas, large Sony TV, Freesat, DVD player & WI-FI. There is also a laptop for guest to use.

There is also a second living room which is open plan to the kitchen allowing for more informal living. This room benefits of lovely views towards Cordes.

The French Kitchen is the heart of this home, it is fitted with a large dinning table with seating for 6 and equipped with all modern conveniences, double doors open onto a large secluded terrace leading to the 10 m pool , again with a back drop of Cordes sur Ciel.

A utility room house space for coats/boots & is fitted with a dishwasher.

There are three superbly furnished bedrooms equipped with two kingsize beds & one double bed. The master bedroom has a log burning stove. The 2nd large room has a balcony overlooking the pool & view.

The bathroom has been decorated using Italian limestone tiles and is fitted with a large shower. Please note, there is only one toilet currently in the property.

Outside the grounds are extensive with a private pool, BBQ & two mountain bicycles.

The house has an impressive entrance to the property, recognised by the stone pillars and wrought iron gates. This leads to a courtyard with a barn style two port garage & wood-store.

This is your "home from home" and for the duration of your stay we want you to enjoy the same level of comfort as you do in your own home.

Please note, check-in is anytime after 16:00 and check-out is by 10:00 so as to allow the house to be cleaned and ready for new guests.

We had a amazing time staying at La Martinie, the house was beautiful with stunning views, everything about the house was brilliant it had all what you needed along with lovely bedding and towels. Games for the children. Would highly recommend it and we will definitely be going back. The communication with the owner was great and all very easy.

Owner's reply: Hi Natalie, We are very pleased to hear you all enjoyed your stay & would warmly welcome you & your family to stay again!
