This spacious and light, first floor apartment is set on an exclusive development in landscaped grounds with swimming pool and is close to local amenities, beaches, golf, restaurants, bars, shopping and leisure activities. It is 5 minutes walk from The Strip, and ideally located for those who like to be within easy walking distance of excellent facilities, while still enjoying a restful, tranquil holiday away from it all.

Stylishly furnished to a high quality and fully equipped with air-conditioned living/dining room and bedroom, the apartment offers everything you need for a comfortable, relaxing self-catering holiday in the Algarve. All rooms (and the balcony) are south facing and have sunlight most of the day. There is a spacious lounge and dining area, large double bedroom, south facing balcony (perfect for alfresco dining), large bathroom and well equipped kitchen. There is lift access to all floors (as well as stair access) including the secure allocated underground parking.

There is a restaurant at the entrance to Parque da Corcovada and opposite the entrance is Club Corcovada, a snack bar providing reasonably priced food and internet access, together with mini golf and children's playground . At Parque da Corcovada reception bookings can be made for restaurants, attractions and activities in the Algarve, as well as arranging other services such as babysitting, car rental, delivery of groceries (although the local supermarket is excellent and only five minutes walk) and a membership card is available to use the jacuzzi, sauna & heated indoor pool leisure facilities at the complex's linked hotel Real Bellavista (as well as offering discounts off spa treatments) .

The rental covers utility bills (including air-conditioning/heating), cleaning at the end of your stay, bed linen and towels (but not beach towels) and beds will be made ready for your arrival – there are no other charges.

Long-term winter lets available from £110.00 per week.

The people who are our keyholders, and also organise the cleaning for us, do a Transfer service from Faro Airport for (currently) 70 euros return ( this is the total payment for up to 4 people). Please request details if this is of interest.

A Welcome Pack (bread, butter, milk, eggs, sugar, water, tea, coffee, red wine, orange juice and a six pack of beer - or tailored to suit) can be arranged for approx. 20 euros from the same people – again, please request details if this is of interest (there are supermarkets and shops nearby though -10 min walk).

Baby equipment e.g. cot/high chair/buggy can also be hired through our keyholders @ €10 per item per week and made available at the apartment. This would need to be requested in advance, but is payable locally.

All our guests are met at the foyer to the apartment by our local, English keyholders, given the keys and shown around the apartment.

The apartment will be available from 3pm on day of arrival to 11am on the date of departure.

No smoking is allowed inside the apartment at any time.

Guests are asked to leave the propert clean and tidy and to ensure that the take all their belongings with them. On changeover days there is only time for a superficial check and a general clean , so we rely upon the goodwill of our guests. We have not been disappointed yet, which is why we do not currently request a damage deposit.

Lounge/ dining area: Fully air conditioned, 2 leather sofa beds, TV, freeview box (with satellite TV providing popular 'free to view' channels including BBC, ITV and radio), DVD, large storage cupboards, dining table seating four
Kitchen: Fully equipped with Siemens appliances, electric oven and hob (with 3 gas rings and one electric), fridge-freezer, microwave, washing machine, dishwasher, iron, ironing board, clothes airer, a variety of cooking utensils and central vacuuming system. There is also a breakfast bar with seating for 2.

• The apartment has a safe. Windows have electrically operated secure metal shutters which also keep the apartment cool when closed.
• The air conditioning units can also be used for heating if required (rarely!).
• Linen and towels are included, although guests must provide their own pool and beach towels.
• Baby equipment (cot, high chair, buggy) can be hired and made available at the apartment
• Welcome pack can be purchased if required.

The Algarve region

Famous for its dramatic, rugged coastline and soft, sandy, unspoilt beaches, warmed by the Gulf Stream, and with over 300 days of sunshine every year, the Algarve makes the ideal destination for a relaxing and fun holiday in the sun.

Corcovada

Parque da Corcovada is located just ten minutes from the centre of Albufeira, the most well- known holiday resort on the Algarve. Albufeira itself is in the centre of the Algarve and is only about an hour and half’s drive from both the nature reserves on the furthest Eastern point on the boundary with Spain and the furthest Western point of the Algarve with its rugged Atlantic coastline. Beautiful lakes and hills are an hours drive to the Northwhile within walking distance of the complex to the South are numerous stretches of stunning white-sandy award winning beaches surrounded by beautiful cliffs and rugged coves.

Albufeira still retains much of a small-town charm. The narrow, cobbled streets of the old town are lined with white washed houses, restaurants, bars and shops. Each night fishing boats set off from the beach, returning with fresh fish to be sold in the local markets. A daily market sells handicrafts and jewellery and the pretty town square is a great place to watch the world go by. Bars and restaurants still sell authentic food and Portuguese wine at reasonable prices. The colours, flavours and aromas create unique moments of gastronomic tradition. In the surroundings of Parque da Corcovada, you can find beautiful, blue flag beaches. Most are served with a bar or restaurant with fantastic seafood and local dishes and the larger beaches feature extensive watersport facilities. Just five minutes walk away is the famous “Strip”, as it is referred to locally. . This is a lively, one kilometre long avenue leading to Praia da Oura (one of the nearby beaches) lined with dozens of cafes, restaurants and bars that keep open to the small hours and provide the very best in nightlife entertainment.

Golf on the Algarve is world famous and being centrally located in the Algarve, Parque da Corcovada is an ideal convenient base for golfers. The five Vilamoura courses are only 15 minutes drive away. Balaia, Salgados and Pine Cliffs a mere 5 minutes drive. Other great golf courses like Quinta do Lago, S. Lorenzo and Vale do Lobo or Vila Sol are just an easy half-hour drive away.

A wide range of other activities are available within the area. Tennis and horse riding are all within a 10 minute drive. Albufeira has a well equipped Marina supporting a wide range of water sports and organised activities such as fishing trips, scuba diving, dolphin watching and sailing can all be arranged from the town itself.

Other local tourist attractions include Zoomarine (www.zoomarine.com), Aqualand (www.aqualand.pt), Aquashow (www.aquashowpark.com), Krazy World (www.krazyworld.com) and Slide & splash (www.slidesplash.com) all within 30 minutes drive.

The Algarve Shopping Centre is 7km away from the apartment, with 9 cinema theatres, ten-pin bowling, shops, supermarkets, restaurants (including many international names) and free parking.

beautiful apartment. we felt so safe and comfortable. great pool area and only a short walk from the main strip. would recommend it to everyone.

We had a fantastic 8 nights stay! Apartment was lovely and clean, spacious and well equipped with everything you could need. Pool area was lovely and relaxing and we had no trouble getting sun loungers at anytime. Felt very safe as there were security around day and night and often seen them walking around checking everything even at 4 am !!! Just a few minutes walk to shops and the main 'strip' which was a bit too lively for us at night but was still lovely with good bars and restaurants! And a taxi journey to the 'old town' was only bout 5-10 mins and cost about €5! Def worth it!! Rob and gill were very helpfull prior to our holiday, answering all my queries very quickly. All in all a brilliant apartment in a great location that I hope to stay in again soon :-)
