“New home cottage”
Had a great holiday at Newhome cottage, which suited us perfectly. Weather was beautiful and locals very friendly and helpful. Hilary coundn't have been nicer or more helpful. Thank you Hilary for the use of your lovely cottage which was spotless and had everything required for a super holiday.
This cottage has everything you need for a comfortable stay, its in a quiet location yet handy for exploring the surrounding towns /villages. Twenty minute walk to a lovely pub. The owner is lovely and communicates really well with you prior to your arrival. Would definately recommend this cottage.
Great little cottage, very welcoming host, various essentials provided, great location, highly recommended, will definitely be returning in the summer
“What a gem!!”
Wow what a gem of a cottage this is, beautiful with everything that you need for a perfect stay. Stunning surrounding area, close to Harrogate. It was the most relaxing couple of days and we will definitely be looking to book again next year!
“A LITTLE GEM”
We were delighted with this little "studio cottage". Everything you could possibly need for a short or long term stay. Well presented and comfortable. The owner was welcoming, available but unobtrusive. The only downside would be if you had mobility issues with a few steps up and then down again to entrance.....worth the little up & down, as between is a charming seating area with quality garden furniture. Easy access to A1/A1M and a short drive into Harrogate. We would happily book here again if diaries tally.
“Lovely little gem!”
We really enjoyed our 1 night stay. Clean and very well presented. Ideal location for a trip to Harrogate. Thanks so much for a lovely nights stay and we hope to return in the future.
“Yorkshire Tour Visit”
First class accommodation set in the countryside about 8 miles from Harrogate. About the same distance to A1. Ideally placed for day tripping to York, Harrogate etc. Scrupulously clean and very well appointed. Bright with modern furniture. Had basic TV channels and WiFi. Had patio set for sitting outside for a read and glass of wine at end of day. Hosts were pleasant and unobtrusive.
“A delightful cottage.”
This small cottage lies in a very peaceful and flowery environment. The owners are absolutely charming. The cottage is very clean, extremely comfortable and furnished to a high standard.
“Lovely, clean rural cottage ideal for exploring Yorkshire”
We stayed a week here in the small cottage which is situated within the owner's garden, in the very small village of Copgrove. The cottage itself consists of a large bedsitting room, with separate small kitchen, and separate shower/loo, and the property is very well decorated and furnished. The lovely owners had stocked the cottage with a welcome pack of tea/coffee/biscuits allowing us to have a cuppa on our arrival. It was an ideal base for us to explore an area of Yorkshire we did not know, and both Harrogate and Ripon are within just a few miles. The benefit of wifi meant we could plan our days out, according to the weather. Overall a great stay, and one we would wish to return to in the future.
