Just come back from long weekend in cottage which apart from The awful weather we still enjoyed our stay as the cottage made it worthwhile everything was at hand like a home from home. Nice attention to detail spotless and fabulous veiws from the balcony. Owner Anne is a very nice lady and was there to greet us and show us around.lovely scones left for us on arrival was a real treat thank you Anne we will definitely return .

Owner's reply: Thank you very much for taking the time to write a review.I am really pleased you enjoyed the cottage especially as the weather was so changeable. It was great to meet you both and I hope you will visit again sometime. Best wishes, Ann

Madly in love with this place. What a wonderfully renovated building. Toasty and tastefully decorated. We were truly looked after by an owner who was delightful in her manner and who will definitely be seeing a return visit from us. This place has everything you need for a relaxing, romantic get-away. On the edge of town but totally secluded. Adored it.

Owner's reply: Thank you so much for your lovely review. It was great to see you both again and I am delighted that you enjoy the cottage enough to return for a second visit and, I hope, maybe a third ! Best wishes,Ann

What a lovely cottage. Warm, comfortable, well equipped. Situated handily just out of Conwy. As a base to explore north Wales, out of this world. Everywhere, from Llanberis, Snowdonia, Llandudno, Caenarfon, the walls of Conwy, we even got to Hells Mouth, is only a shortish drive away.the scenery? It's a mixture of everywhere! Bets-y-Coed. Straight out of the lake district. Anglesey? That could quite easily double for Cornwall. This was our first trip to north Wales. It won't be our last.

Owner's reply: Thank you very much for your kind review. Delighted that you enjoyed the cottage and that you were impressed with your first trip to Conwy and North Wales which has so much to offer whatever your interests.Lovely to meet you both,Best wishes,Ann

“A wonderful weekend away!”

My partner and I stayed at this cottage at the end of March and had the most wonderful time. Ann greeted us on arrival and showed us around. She was so friendly and welcoming. The cottage was so clean, and so spacious! We loved the balcony as we were able to enjoy our morning coffee out there and an evening drink. We made our own meal on the Friday night at the cottage and the kitchen had everything we needed and worked perfectly. Large bathroom, great shower. Everything was just great. You can walk into Conwy from the cottage in about 25 minutes. We drove to Llandudno in the evening and it only took about 20 minutes. I can't recommend Ann's cottage enough. We will definitely stay again.

Owner's reply: Thank you very much for your lovely review. I am really pleased that you enjoyed your stay so much.Great to meet you both and hope to see you again sometime in the future. Best wishes, Ann

“Lovely peaceful location, but within walking distance of Conwy.”

Our break at Bwthyn y Wennol was for a couple of days break for my husbands Birthday, some relaxation, peace and quiet. We were not disappointed, the location was amazing, we sat on the balcony watching the sheep and enjoying the beautiful views. We were met by Ann, the owner who couldn't do enough to help us, recommending a place to eat out locally. The cottage itself is lovely and has everything you could need, it is very warm, spacious and on our arrival a wonderful plate of hot cross buns was awaiting. The only downfall is we were not there long enough. We would love to return. Thank you for a nice break

Owner's reply: Thank you very much for your kind review.I am so pleased that you enjoyed the cottage and the location. Also ,thank you for leaving the cottage so clean & tidy which I really appreciate. It would be great to see you both again in the future. Best wishes,Ann

“Lovely Cottage in Wales”

Reviewed 30 Dec 2013

We decided to get away for the Chirstmas break and both the cottage and the location were exceptional! The owner Ann showed us around the property and we were so surprised of how spacious it was. We had an idea of what the property would look like from the picture but it was so much bigger and cosier than we could of imagined. There were so many homely touches from extra blankets to a radio in the ktichen. Also the kitchen was more equiped then we could have imagined! Ann even baked a Christmas cake and left mulled wine and cheese on our arrival. The cottage was also beautifully decorated with Christmas decoration which added to the warmt and time of year. The views was also gorgeous. We absolutely loved the log fire and my partner enjoyed setting this up every evening! The cottage was easy to get to and our sat nave guided us directly to the door. Conwy offers so much in terms of both shops and activities. There is a local spa but also a Tesco a short drive over the bridge. We enjoyed all the local hill walks, climbed part of Snowdonia, went mining and house riding! The amount of acitivities are endless. We cannot wait to visit Wales again and even though we believe in visiting different locations both the cottage and Conwy are drawing us back! Thanks Ann

Owner's reply: Thank you so much for your kind review.I am delighted that you enjoyed the cottage and appreciated how much Conwy and the local area has to offer, whatever the weather! It was lovely to meet you both and wish you all the best for the New Year.Ann

“The Perfect Getaway”

Reviewed 21 Jul 2013

We have just returned from our stay at this cottage and have had a perfect holiday. The cottage is top quality and has everything you could wish for and more! The view from the bedroom balcony is stunning, and a lovely place to relax with a glass of wine. The location is excellent, away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to visit the many local attractions. We look forward to returning during the cooler months so that we can enjoy the wood burner. Many thanks to Ann and Peter for the wine to celebrate our anniversary, such a lovely thing to do. I will be recommending this cottage to family and friends. Thankyou!!

Owner's reply: Thank you very much for your generous review.I am delighted that you enjoyed the cottage and location so much and that you chose to spend your Anniversary here.Look forward to seeing you both again so you can enjoy a roaring log fire. The views are great even in the winter! Best wishes, Ann & Peter
