“Super location with excellent views”

Reviewed 13 Jun 2013

The accommodation was very good indeed. Plenty of room for our party of 8 people and one (small) dog. Just about everything that you could want for was included in the property. The location on the quayside, 2 doors from the Smallest House in Britain, was superb. Short walks to the town, castle, park, etc. plus good beer in the local pub....the Liverpool Arms. The lounge and dining area are very good size with plenty of room for all of us, even when playing on the Wii........!! Negatives.......only a couple of very minor points. A larger mirror and additional electric sockets in the top-left bedroom would be useful. Otherwise, no complaints at all.

“A Secret Haven”

An amazing cottage. Well equipped, stocked and furnished. Couldn't ask for more. Fantastic location, great views and a home from home. I will deffinitely be back.

“Incredible location - stunning views. Convenient for restaurants and shops”

Reviewed 12 Jun 2013

Beautifully restored. Tasteful decor. Stayed over Easter with 5 teenagers, an 11 year old , my husband and our golden retriever. Fresh mussels from the harbour and ate well in local restaurants. Shops convenient. Felt embarrassed bringing wet dog into lovely oak floor , but did have a courtyard where we could wash him down and dry him. Memorable views of the sea and boats and well located for day trips to Llandudno and Snowdonia.

“Great cottage & position, lovely scenery.”

Reviewed 12 Jun 2013

We are a family of 2 adults, 3 teenage boys & 2 dogs. The cottage is beautifully furnished & has a fantastic position, shops / pubs / castle all within easy walking distance. Nice woodland walk for dogs round the corner Conwy is a lovely town with lots of interesting buildings & it's within an easy drive of lots of holiday places. I was impressed with Llandudno. Very scenic - we had a great holiday.

“Great location - well kept accommodation”

Reviewed 12 Jun 2013

The cottage was well kept and beautifully furnished. We had a comfortable week in a lovely town with lots to do in the area. Looking out onto the river every day was so relaxing. We loved walking around the town walls and also popping into Llandudno & the Great Orme. The history of the house ( found in a folder in the lounge) was really interesting.

“Fantastic !!”

Reviewed 12 Jun 2013

This was our third visit to Royal Oak cottage . We had a lovely sunny week in June . There is everything you need at the cottage , which makes it very comfortable ..... especially the beds . There is a fantastic view , (from every bedroom window , and living/dining room) of the estuary and the pretty boats . If you need some exercise try the castle walls walk , but don't forget your camera ... the views are stunning . There are lots of things to do and see in the area . On this particular stay we visited The Electric mountain and the Llanberis Lake steam railway, The River Cruise, Betws y Coed and other beautiful places . By the end of the week , we did not want to go home . We will definitaly be back for a fourth visit .
