The North Wales region
LOCATION In a secluded cul-de-sac on Conwy Marina 100 yards from the Conwy (Caernarvonshire) golf course. The waterfront is close by with walks along the dog friendly beach. The medieval town of Conwy is a riverside walk, Victorian resort of Llandudno is a few minutes drive away, further sandy beaches at Penmaenmawr and the lakes & mountains of Snowdonia nearby. A short walk to the beach, golf course, Conwy Mountain, excellent pub restaurant The Mulberry and The Mulberry Stores open 9am Mon-Sun.
Situated on Conwy Marina, a riverside walk from the medieval town of Conwy, a delightful North Wales destination, renowned for its medieval castle and well-preserved town walls. It has a scenic harbour and stands on the estuary of the River Conwy. The magnificent natural beauty and lakes and mountains of the Snowdonia National Park can be explored. The bustling town welcomes visitors with its ancient architecture, independent shops, pubs, restaurants and cafes.
There are a host of boat trips offered from the harbour to go fishing or just to enjoy the views. Boat trips also sail up the river past the marinas of Conwy and Deganwy to Great Orme's Head as well as to the lovely Conwy Valley.
The splendid Conwy Castle is one of the most impressive and complete examples of medieval military architecture. Completed in 1289 by Edward I, visitors will enjoy the spectacular views from the parapets of the estuary and foothills of Snowdonia.
One “must-see” in Conwy is the red house on the quayside, certified as the smallest house in Britain. With a door and two windows it is all in miniature and you will need to duck your head to get in. It measures just 6 feet wide and was built as a fisherman's cottage. Close by is Aberconwy House, a 14th century merchant's house, thought to be the oldest townhouse in Wales and Plas Mawr, a 15th century architectural gem, the finest surviving town house of the Elizabethan era to be found anywhere in Britain.

"Great Base for seeing North Wales"
A clean, modern, well equipped house in a convenient location. We loved our evening strolls with our dog along the beach, lots of tourist attractions within half an hour. Helpful, thoughtful owners provided generous welcome tray and other free gifts.
