Location description from owner

The North Wales region

Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.

Conwy

Set within the Snowdonia National Park is the pretty village of Trefriw, ideally placed for all manner of activities and attractions with the splendour of both the National Park and the North Wales Coast on the doorstep. The village offers a good selection of shops, pubs and restaurants as well as a working woollen mill and craft shop. The Trefriw Wells Spa, originally used by the Romans, is also worth visiting. The River Conwy and wonderful lakes in the hills above Trefriw provide great fishing opportunities, especially the renowned Llyn Crafnant. With numerous beautiful walks available throughout the region this is an excellent spot for ramblers, whilst history enthusiasts will enjoy the fine example of a Tudor courtyard at Gwydyr Castle and the extensive Gwydyr Forest Park.
