“Home from Home”

Excellent cottage with all you need for a comfortable stay top class presentation and good parking which is difficult to find with a cottage so close to Conwy town. The location is in an excellent position and one we would highly recommend . Thank you for making it a wonderful holiday, hope to visit again.

Stephen - Thank you for staying at KNIGHTS REST, taking the time to review and your kind comments - Many thanks - mark & Team

“almost a gem”

Reviewed 10 Sep 2015

in a quiet location within easy reach of the town with good parking which is a bonus for conwy. clean and tidy with comfortable beds and adequate facilities & a welcome pack on arrival. like many s/c places we have used there is a lack of coathooks ( may i suggest the utility room) and blackout blinds would be beneficial in the bedrooms, particularly the front where the streetlight imposes. apart from these minor quibbles we were delighted to stay there and would have no hesitation in recommending it

Many thanks - Kind regards Mark & Team

“Well appointed property with car parking a very short walk from the lovely small town of Conwy, North Wales.”

Reviewed 24 Aug 2015

From the time of booking to our arrival, Mark the owner was extremely helpful and accommodating. We found the property to be very clean, comfortable and well appointed; and only a very short walk from the centre of the lovely small Snowdonia town of Conwy which has plenty of places to eat, a couple of nice pubs, a small pleasant harbour and a fabulous castle walls walk.

Claire Many thanks for your review - Kind regards, Mark & Team.

“5* property... couldn't have asked for anything more”

Reviewed 16 Aug 2015

Fantastic location. The property had everything you could ask for, they thought of everything!!! It was very easy to relax in, we felt so at home from the moment we walked through the door as did the children. It was cleaned and furnished to a very high standard. We would definitely book again. Also the cottage is a lot bigger than it looks in the pictures. And is very deceiving from the outside too. Overall we had a fantastic holiday in KNIGHTS REST and would recommend to all our friends and family.

hi Nia & Party Many thanks for your kind review and taking the time to do so also, Great that you enjoyed the cottage and surroundings and we look forward to welcoming you back to Conwy in due course All the very best regards Mark & Team

“Immaculate house, excellent location. Lots to do in area for teenagers.”

Reviewed 2 Jul 2015

Knights Rest is a beautiful cottage just under the castle walls in Conwy. It is immaculately presented, beautifully decorated and very well equipped. The cottage has a small south facing patio with BBQ and seating for four and is a real sun trap if, like us, you are lucky with the weather. If you're looking for a quiet relaxing holiday then this is ideal. You could hear a pin drop at night. Conwy itself is a lovely walled town with lots of good shops and pubs. Try Edwards deli for fab food. We arrived during the annual pirate festival which was great fun. Conwy is ideal for those travelling from Holyhead as its only 40 minutes from the port. It's also easily accessible by 3 hour train journey from London with a train station right in the centre of the town. There's lots to do within a short drive. We had teenage boys with us and there was plenty to entertain them. Zip world was a big hit. The house has lots of brochures with ideas for days out. Overall a very successful holiday. Would love to visit again in the winter.

Dear Caroline & family Many thanks for taking the time to provide a review - which is most appreciated Great to hear that you all had a fab time, and that the weather was indeed great the past week or so Hopefully we will welcome you back in due course all very best & Thank you Mark & Team

“Content in Conwy”

Reviewed 17 May 2015

Great location, clean and comfortable apartment . My family, which includes 2 teenagers, really enjoyed the location of Knights rest and walked everywhere. It was also surprisingly quiet. It's very easy to use this place as a home base to explore Snowdonia National Park and various castles in the area. Enjoyed Alredos Italian restaurant and a pub about 10 mins walk away called The Old White House. There is a mini Tesco for your basic shopping needs, which had everything we needed and was a 5 min walk.

Gregg & Family Many thanks for taking the time to review and your kind comments. We hope to see you back this side of the pond in the future Glad to had a great time All very best Many Thanks Mark & Team

Couldn't fault this cottage. Great location, decor, facilities and extras you would find in a hotel. The welcome basket with wine and breakfast was much appreciated. We will definitely be back!

Brian and Party, Many thanks for your kind review and indeed taking the time to do so. Great to hear you enjoyed yourselves and we look forward to welcoming you back all very Best Mark & Team

“Perfect location.”

Reviewed 9 Nov 2014

The cottage was very comfortable, and had everything we needed during our holiday. The parking was a definite bonus as Conwy was very busy when we arrived with the annual Food Fair. Our only thing the cottage lacked was wi-fi, but we found that it was in a BT hotspot and so we could purchase wi-fi through that - problem solved! Mark was very helpful and gave us lots of useful information about Conwy and the surrounding area. If we were to head back to North Wales we would have no issue staying here again.

Dear Moody Family - Many thanks for taking the time to provide valuable feedback - we hope we get the chance to welcome you back in the future again to Conwy - Thank you so much, and wifi planned for 2015 season :-) all very best - Mark & Team

“Lovely cottage, excellent location.”

Reviewed 25 Aug 2014

We stayed here for a short break in Conwy with our two young children. The cottage is in a very central location just a couple of minutes from the centre of Conwy and a stone's throw from the castle. The off-road parking was very much appreciated. Mark and Jeannie were very helpful in terms of providing information on local amenities etc and very responsive to our queries. The cottage was very well equipped and the welcome basket was a lovely touch - especially as there were items specifically for the children in the basket. I would highly recommend this cottage.

Many thanks for taking the time to provide valuable feedback - we hope we get the chance to welcome you back in the future again to Conwy - Thank you so much, all very best - Mark & Team

“Ideal location and beautifully kept with everything you need for your stay”

Reviewed 10 Aug 2014

My husband and I took our 2 grandchildren aged 5 and 8 for a weeks holiday while mum and dad refurbished their bathroom! Mark had said there was everything you needed at the cottage and he was absolutely right. As requested the second bedroom had been made up as 2 single beds for the children and everywhere was spic and span. A welcome pack on arrival, robes and slippers and even toiletries in the bathroom were a lovely touch. Conwy itself is a great place on its own but also an ideal location to explore the surrounding areas without too much travelling involved (essential with young children!). The cottage is private and really well located for walking into the town or down to the quay and within easy walking distance of the marina. I would recommend this to anyone looking for that Ideal location and beautifully kept with everything you need for your stay.

Patricia and Family, Thank you for taking the time to provide a review. Great to hear that you all had a great time and we really look forward to welcoming you back in the future Trust the bathroom project was a success also kind regards Mark
