Very Good

“Fantastic experience, Sean makes you feel like at home”

Our staying at the house, which is perfectly located, was fantastic. Connemara offers everything you can expect, amazing countryside, beautiful sandy beaches, Aran Islands...

“Lovely cottage ideally located in a beautiful part of Connemara”

Reviewed 18 Aug 2014

We spent a very pleasant week in a very nice and confortable cottage, in a quiet small village at the heart of Connemara, next to lakes and mountains. Perfect to enjoy nature and wilderness, and centrally located to reach all parts of Connemara in less than an hour drive. Thanks a lot to our host Sean, for his hearty welcome, useful advices and directions to discover the region. We will come back for sure !

“Comfortable cottage and a beautiful location”

Reviewed 1 Dec 2013

Nice welcome with a roaring fireplace. The owner was helpfull explaining the facilities and talking to us about the area and he texted us the next day to find out if everything was okay. The cottage is very comfortable and the location is nice and quiet but good to find and in the middle of Connemara so close to places as Clifden and Kylemore Abbey.

“Splendid and calm”

Nice stay with our 3 kids. Fantastic view. Good base for day trips all over Connemara. The cottage is fully equipped.

“Comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen and beautiful views over the lake.”

Reviewed 10 Apr 2013

Comfortable well equipped rooms with excellent amenities. The location was perfect for day trips to Galway City, Clifden and Kylmore Abbey etc.. We loved the views over the lake at sunset from the back of the house, the open fire (and central heating) and the perfect location for walking in the Connemara hills.

“The perfect spot to get away from it all, tranquil, comfortable, beautiful”

Reviewed 11 Oct 2012

The house was perfect for us (a group of 6 friends) had loads of room. It had comfortable well equipped rooms but the highlight were the views out over the lake at sunset from the back of the house. A great location for doing day trips around Connemara. Sean gave us all the information we needed and even gave us local taxi numbers in case we wanted to go to a local pub a few km away. We couldn't have been looked after better and would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a quiet escape to the heart of Connemara.

“Family holidays with 5 kids”

Reviewed 7 Sep 2012

We spent a wonderful week in a quiet and beautiful. Very convenient for touring Connemara. In addition, the facilities are really many.
