Renovated stone cottage on delightful small island, completely uninhabited for most of the year, with no facilities or shops. Mason Island is about ½ mile wide and nearly ¾ mile long and is situated about ¼ mile off the mainland. The cottage is about 100 yrds from a stone pier and sea. Small beaches, derelict cottages and interesting bird life with fine views of the intriguing coastline and numerous islands make this location ideal for artist, naturalist or recluse. Owner will bring clients across to the island in his curragh and will call if requested (weather permitting). Carna 4 miles.

Inside: Suitably furnished with sitting room with open peat hearth, conservatory, kitchen with (bottled) gas cooker, microwave and fridge, shower and W.C. and five bedrooms, two with one double, and three loft bedrooms (steep stairs) two with two single beds each and one with a double and a single. TV and video. Oil fired central heating. Duvets. Radio telephone. No pets.
