The Ticket Office is a quirky, semi-detached cottage, the former railway station for the hamlet of Torver, just 2.5 miles from Coniston and can sleep two people. This all ground floor cottage has a double bedroom, a bathroom, a kitchen, a sitting room with dining area and a shared utility. Outside there is off road parking for one car and shared gardens with furniture. The Ticket Office is a wonderful holiday base.

Superb walking, mountain biking and climbing is available locally on Coniston Old Man and Wetherlam, and the lovely woodland trails at Grizedale Forest. For water sports enthusiasts the quiet lake is ideal for dinghy sailing and canoeing, whilst the less active can enjoy a leisure cruise on the beautiful steam yacht 'Gondola'.
