In the heart of Coniston, with the lake, shops, pubs and restaurants all
within easy walking distance, The Gallery is an ideal base to explore
the village and the Lake District. More an apartment than a cottage, The
Gallery is a self-contained Victorian property accessed through a
traditional timber and slate porch, leading into a tall hallway. From
here you enter into the long tastefully decorated living area: from
kitchen, through dining area to living room. With many frosted windows,
there's plenty of light and the open plan makes it very spacious. The
kitchen is modern and well equipped; the living room has 2 large, comfy
sofas and views to Grizedale Forest. There's even a table football game
if needed.

Upstairs there's a newly installed shower/bathroom
and two double bedrooms, one of which can be converted to singles. The
Gallery is a great location for exploring Coniston and the surrounding
area
