You'll find this ideal getaway high within the pines. This passive solar, timber-frame home boasts 1,600 square feet, with vaulted ceilings, complex timber woodwork and extensive windows that provide stunning mountain views throughout every room.

This home exudes a cozy and inviting atmosphere. Natural light pours through the windows and warms your shoulders, while the wood-burning stove thaws frozen toes. Unwind with a Netflix Original on the flat-screen Smart TV in the living room, while the kids retreat upstairs to play a board game in the lofted space.

Refuel weary friends with a hearty home-cooked meal each evening. While grillmasters prepare the catch-of-the-day on the stainless steel gas grill outside, you can utilize the counter space and stainless steel appliances inside to perfect that first-prize rhubarb dish for the annual Pine County Rhubarb festival!

“Wished it was mine!”

The cabin was of modern design with high end furnishings and clean. The bed was very comfortable and the bedding luxurious and freshly laundered. Convenient location that was not far off of the highway and less than 5 minutes from my daughter's wedding venue. Also close to Denver Metro Area but not too close to the rat race of the big city. Scenic and beautiful setting that was also relaxing and cathartic. Bonus was waking up to the local wildlife, 2 Bucks, right outside the patio door and not far away a herd of elk grazing in the meadow. I have stayed at several VRBO properties over several years and this property was probably one of my favorites. It was the total package.
