Welcome to our family apartment located on the very popular Jardines 9 within the Condado De Alhama Golf Resort. This south facing mid-terrace apartment benefits from three double bedrooms, one bathroom comfortably sleeps 6 people. Single beds are in the two main bedrooms and these can be pushed together to make doubles. The third bedroom has a comfortable double futon. There is also a travel cot and bed guard available for use. The lounge is equipped with a TV, Wireless Access Point and has a large leather style sofa that extends to become a day bed. All bedrooms and the lounge benefit from air conditioning which also provides heating in the winter months. Our patio area and garden is a generous and private space, great for sunbathing, evening BBQ's and lots of entertaining! There are four sun loungers available for use within our garden or around the pool. The shared pool has a toddlers section as well as the main section. The pool has excellent garden space and shady trees

The pool has excellent garden space and shady trees surrounding it making the Jardin 9 pool especially popular. A short 2-3 minute walk will take you to the resort sports facilities and sports bar. The sports facilities include tennis courts, paddle tennis courts, a gym (which offers weekly membership) and a 5-a-side football pitch. A 10 minute walk from our apartment will bring you to the main resort centre which has an excellent variety of international restaurants, bars and a well stocked and competitively priced supermarket. Bikes can be hired from outside the supermarket and there is a kids club on the resort during the peak UK school holiday periods.Mazarron town and harbour offers an assortment of safe beaches with many suited to families. Mazarron is approx 25mins drive from the Condado resort and is clearly sign-posted. The Mazarron Harbour area has recently undergone a facelift and the restaurants, shops, bars are superb and very family oriented. Mazarron really comes alive in the evening! For our more adventurous guests, the base of the Sierra Espuna Mountain range is approx. 15mins drive from the resort. There is wide range of activities on offer including Horse Riding, Mountain Walking, Mountain Biking, Quad Biking, Kayaking and 4x4 trails. We have full contacts for these activities which are bookable in advance or can be done using our "apartment guide" which is available to all guests using the apartment. A comprehensive list of tried and tested restaurants and places to go are also captured in the guide for everyone's enjoyment.Although the resort is established, we do recommend that guests hire a car for their stay to make the most of the area. The Condado De Alhama Resort is a 50 min drive from Murcia San Javier Airport and 1hr 10min from Alicante Airport. The roads between the resort and the airports are equivalent to very good and quiet UK dual carriageways and are easy to navigate, even for a first timer to driving abroad. The apartment has a designated parking space within close proximity to the apartment itself.Depending on the season, the resort often runs a scheduled bus service which operates regularly between the resort and Alhama De Murcia, Murcia and Mazarron. This could be a useful and cheaper alternative to a car.

Mazarron town and harbour offers an assortment of beaches with some particularly suited to families. Mazarron is approx ½ hour drive from the Condado resort and is clearly sign-posted. The Mazarron Harbour area has recently undergone a facelift and the restaurants, shops, bars are superb. Mazarron really comes alive in the evening! For the more adventurous guest the Sierra Espuna Mountain range is a 20 minute drive from the resort. There is a host of activities that can be arranged in the mountains including mountain biking, quad biking, kayaking, 4x4 trails.Murcia city is steeped in history and is a 30 minute drive. In addition to it's historical points of interest there is also a waterpark/zoo which makes an excellent day out. It's also on this campus where you'll find huge shopping centres including supermarkets.

“A comfortable apartment, good facilities, lovely area to visit!”

We stayed in this property with friends, it is a comfortable, air conditioned 3 bed apartment with ample space in a very nice complex. The communal pool is a few metres away and is very clean and safe, a short walk takes you to a Sports Bar where you can enjoy decent food and drink, there are tennis courts and facilities for children. On the complex there is a great "Town Square" type facility with a supermarket and a variety of restaurants/bars which is easy to access and a short walk from the apartment for an evening stroll. A short drive takes you to the lovely Port of Mazarron where there are lovely restaurants/shops, beaches and a very pretty Marina. There is plenty to do in the local area including adventure activities in the Sierra Espuna mountain range. We found this holiday to be a great one, not too far from the UK, the property is a very easy drive from Alicante Airport and closer from Murcia Airport which is ideal if you do not want a long journey. Overall we found this to be a really good option for us as a family and I would not hesitate to visit again.

“Great accommodation in a good location”

It was a great apartments, suitable for my Dad and his wheelchair (good access into the property and garden). Comfortable beds. Clean and tidy, and nicely decorated, with all the facilities you need for a self catering holiday. There are good facilities on the development, so a car is not essential.

The apartment has all the facilities you need to have a great holiday with all your home comforts to hand. It has a light and spacious feel to it. There is sufficient outdoor furniture to enjoy al fresco dining. The swimming pool is approximately 20 meters from the apartment and is very child friendly with a paddling pool for little ones. The gardens and pool areas are cleaned numerous times throughout the day. The centre of the complex is about 10 minutes walk away which has several, various international themed restaurants and bars. During high season there is entertainment most nights. There is also a large supermarket and ice cream parlour at the centre. This was our second time to the Condado De Alhama resort. We find the apartment and resort a relaxing holiday that our three children (aged 2, 8 and 12) have thoroughly enjoyed. We have hired a car on both occasions to explore the neighbouring towns and beaches.
