Mrs Bests Holiday Cottage is a beautiful hamstone cottage set in the pretty village of Compton Pauncefoot; a peaceful village of about 25 houses. The cottage was modernized to a high standard in 2011 and has been awarded 4 Stars and a gold award by the Visit Britain for four years running.
The living room boasts a large inglenook fireplace & wood burner, a window seat and an exposed beam. The kitchen has a new hand painted kitchen with granite work surfaces and the original blue lias floor which easily seats 8 for dining. The property has been fully rewired and new central heating has been installed.
There is a large downstairs shower room, with WC; convenient for use by the household, as well as to be used by the occupants of the ground floor bedroom, which is ideal for 2 children, or may be an older relation.
Upstairs there are three good sized double bedrooms, with exposed floor boards and beams, together with two family bathrooms, one boasting a roll top bath.
The cottage benefits from a large south facing patio, over looking the neighbouring field. There is ample parking space for three cars.
