Villa El Botin is undeniably : ‘A house with a view’! Every where you look around, even from the heated pool, the magnificent landscape takes your breath away. You can see both the mountains and the sea. You are surrounded by the incredible beauty of nature, amidst large olive and almond groves. The house is located on a quiet road but is just a 5 minute drive from the beautiful Andalusian village Comares, also known as ‘The pearl of the Axarquia’ and voted ‘Pueblo magico d’España’. There are beautiful terraces, some shaded to enjoy outdoor dining

The house has 4 bedrooms with aircon on a ‘pay as you use’ base and 2 bathrooms. There is a very cosy and comfortable living room (again with aircon on a pay as you go basis) with pellet stove for the colder evenings and a large patio door that opens onto the terrace. The kitchen is completely equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, hob, oven, microwave, fridge and all the necessary kitchen utensils. There is tv, DVD, stereo, FREE WIFI and ample parking space.

The large, private swimming pool (12m x 4m) can be heated.

The heated swimming pool is available from April 1 to November 15

There are terraces with views of the Mediterranean see and the mountains. A special BBQ area outside invites you to cook and dine al fresco. This part of southern Spain has got the best climate of all of Europe, Winters are very mild here, witness to this are the many tropical fruits that grow here : platanos, mango’s, cherymoyas, and avocados. Imagine, enjoying all this with friends or family in a super relaxing environment…sweet dreams are made of this.

All our villa’s are situated in wonderful natural environment and quiet village areas. Therefore these houses are ideal for holidays for families and groups who are looking for these characteristics and appreciate them. So please note that the villas are not suitable and available for noisy party holidays.

Our guests can also bring 1 pet, but please note, only after consultation.

Monthly rentals (28 days or more) do NOT include electricity, gas bottles (if required) and pellets for the pellets stove. Electricity is charged at 0.35€/Kw.

It is possible to rent the villa monthly from January to March.

-The minimum age of the person making the reservation must be 25 years.

There is a baby bed and highchair available. ( You most request this on reservation).

Cost of the heated pool: €190 per week.

Air conditioning cost: 30 euros by week is in place for your arrival, after this you pay for what you use. The average cost is 1 euro for 1 hour depending on the temperature that you set. Please be aware that air conditioning is available in all the bedrooms only.

Bedankt voor uw review. Wat betreft de reisweg, we leggen steeds erg de nadruk in onze correspondentie èn wegbeschrijving op het feit dat onze gasten best onze wegbeschrijving volgen om makkelijke bij het huis te komen en de meesten doen dat ook maar wie het niet doet, rijdt natuurlijk veel langer. Onze huismeester is meestal erg graag gezien door onze gasten en uit uw verdere uitleg te verstaan heeft hij er ook alles gedaan om aan jullie wensen te voldoen. Misschien leek hij wat geërgerd omdat er ook in de reisdocumentatie gevraagd wordt om even te bellen als je door omstandigheden later zult aankomen. Het nummer staat duidelijk vermeld in de papieren omdat dit onze conciërges, die meerdere aankomsten op 1 dag hebben, in staat te stelt om hun werk zo te regelen, dat geen enkele klant in de figuurlijke kou moet blijven staan. Het afdekzeil blijft altijd naast het zwembad omdat sommige gasten, zelfs in de zomer, het zwembad 's nachts willen afdekken omdat ze heel vroeg willen gaan zwemmen. Een vies koffie apparaat kan echt niet, ik zal de poetsploeg hierover aanspreken. Jammer dat u de huisbewaarder niet heeft gevraagd welke spullen u meer wou in de keuken, hij zou ze u met plezier, direct gebracht hebben. Een welkomstpakket kan besteld worden tegen een zeer voordelige prijs, dat staat in al onze advertenties, dus jammer dat u dat niet besteld hebt, dan had het voor u klaar gestaan bij aankomst. Jammer ook dat u niet wist dat er een supermarkt op slechts 5 autominuutjes is, in Comares. (ook dat staat in de reisdocumenten) Ik ben blij dat de huismeester u direct alles gebracht heeft wat u vroeg. Dat had hij dus net zo goed met de keukenspullen kunnen doen, had hij het geweten. We zijn heel blij dat u toch van het huis, het zwembad, de airco, de oven, het Bali-bed en de mooie tuin hebt genoten. En natuurlijk van de prachtige sterrenhemel.

Why can't I call the property manager before booking?

You can exchange contact details with the property owner/manager once your booking is confirmed and you’ve paid in full. Paying and communicating only through our platform allows us to ensure that your booking is covered by our Payment Protection policy.

If you have any questions before booking, you can send the property owner/manager a message via the contact form on their listing. Once you’ve booked, you can discuss the rental and make arrangements for your trip by logging into Manage my booking.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send the property manager a message.

If the property manager agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
