Description

The Granary at Barritshayes is set in a stunning location, nestling amongst the hills of rural East Devon and yet only a few minutes from the Jurassic coast at Lyme Regis, Seaton, Beer, Branscombe and Sidmouth.

It has a double and twin bedroom, with a sofa bed in the living room. THE TWIN BEDROOM IS NOT SUITABLE FOR TWO ADULTS. We have excellent facilities for both families and couples with our superb outdoor heated pool (open May to end Sept), games room, tennis court and plenty of outside space with fantastic views. We also have another 2 bedroomed cottage, The Dairy, and Swallows cabin for two. SECURE ONLINE BOOKING IS AVAILABLE VIA OUR OWN WEBSITE

The 4* Granary is very well equipped with a private garden and barbeque, free wifi, dishwasher, washing machine and new bathroom. Perfect for couples and families, we offer a warm welcome and include little extras which we think might help such as household and toiletry goods, welcome pack and lots of small touches which we hope will enhance your stay and ease the packing before you arrive! Well behaved pets are very welcome. There are a wide variety of beautiful walks from our doorstep including along the East Devon Way and along the towering cliffs of the Jurassic coast at Beer, Branscombe and Lyme Regis.

Getting around

A car is needed to enjoy the area. Honiton station (on the Waterloo line) is 5 miles away and Exeter Airport is 20 minutes drive. Taxis and car hire are available at both of these.

Interaction with guest

Children are very welcome to help feed the horses and stable cats in the evenings. We can help with local knowledge, places to visit and are always available to help in any way we can.

Fantastic location, the cottage had everything we needed for our short stay. Gordon was very helpful with advice on places to eat out in the lical area.

We enjoyed staying in Liz little farm so much! The cottage is so cozy and warm! Family feeling! And liz is very thoughtful and prepare all you need, even butter in plate! I would really go back some point in summer then we can swim as well! Thanks Liz and Gorden! Regards Michael

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Liz (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
