Description

Lovely, cosy but spacious two bedroom cottage situated at the rear of our family home.

Located close to the beach, town and railway station in Colwyn Bay with plenty of restaurants and cafes.

We are approximately 20 miles from Snowdonia making this a great base for all of the new attractions that North Wales has to offer, such as Surf Snowdonia and Zip World as well as those wishing to climb Snowdon.

A car is not critical if coming by train, as rail and bus links are very good; however a car will certainly allow easy travel to many of North Wales' attractions.

“Fantastic Cottage”

Recently had a lovely stay at Rose Cottage. Lovely cottage. Had all the essentials needed for our stay - very well equipped. Spotlessly clean. Home from home. Great location. Near the beach which our dog loved! Will definitely return to Rose Cottage when we next come back to Wales.

Wow what a find! Rose Cottage has everything you need for short or long breakaway, with lots of little extra touches that really enhance the experience. Julian was friendly and extremely helpful and right next door, without being overbearing. He was so knowledgeable about the area , with some great recommendations of places to eat in or takeaway. The cottage had a lovely little enclosed garden that is great for dogs or young children. We can’t wait to go back this cottage and it’s owner ticks all the boxes for our family - thank you!

“Little piece of home”

Just returned from a short break at Rose Cottage and cannot wait to book again!! Spotlessly clean and everything you could ask for in a well presented, beautifully decorated property. Julian met us there and was able to recommend a fabulous dog friendly pub just a short drive along the promanade. We enjoyed lovely (somewhat bracing!!) walks along the seafront and the cottage is just a short distance from many local attractions. A little gem of a find is Rose Cottage and if you are lucky enough to book to stay there, you won’t be disappointed.

Stayed here for 3 nights, lovely clean cottage, well equipped and near to all amenities. I was working in Rhos on Sea just a mile away, but my partner and little dog had a great time walking on the beach and surrounding areas. Would definitely stay again. Julian the owner is a very nice guy.

“Lovely stay”

We stayed at rose cottage for just 2 nights and despite the awful weather had a lovely time. The cottage itself is perfect for families and we were welcomed by the lovely owner Julian who explained everything we needed to know about the house and made recommendations for where to eat out. It is perfectly situated near to the beach and a number of family attractions. We managed a few hours on the beach the first day but because of the weather didn't get the full use that we would have liked. Instead we visited the sea aquarium in Rhyl and the amusements in Llandudno- perfect rainy day activities with our 3 and 6 year olds. Highly recommend this holiday house as it is clean, comfortable with very welcoming owners. It is also close to many attractions and a perfect base to explore north wales

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Julian (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
