Short term lets are normally available for the three nights for weekends and four nights for weekdays. However, three or two night weekday rental may be occasionally considered, hence, please request (normally 20 pounds less than four nights rate as last minute booking). For the weekends, two/one night(s) maybe booked as last minute availability for twenty pounds less than three nights' rate. The computer system will calculate the rate according to the number of nights of your stay, however, please understand that the rate expected will be twenty less than four nights (weekdays) and three nights (weekends) rate. It is because of the cleaning and linen charge that has to be considered for each changeover. I left the option of shorter stay open to the guests who don't mind paying surcharge. It is because additional cleaning and linen charge have to be considered. Please look under nightly rate of weekdays (Mon-Thursday) and weekends (Fri-Sun) rate of your wanted period, then you will be able to know how much your booking will be. Please confirm the whole amount with me if wished, then I can also send you a separate invoice. For a weekly booking, please proceed with the quotation from the website and you can book directly. The damage deposit of 70 pounds will be kindly requested upon arrival.

“Very relaxing and quiet place to stay.”

Reviewed 25 Apr 2016

My wife and I stayed here for four nights and found it a great place to relax and enjoy some quiet time together. On our arrival we were met by the owner Seungee who had baked a cake and placed some flowers in the cottage, nice touch but then she is a very lovely person who seems to care greatly that her guests have a wonderful stay. She was extremely helpful and informative about places to visit and what pub/restaurants to dine in. Cottage was lovely and clean with everything you need to make your stay comfortable. Great shower, bath and excellent wifi service. Pretty garden in front of the cottage and a nice outlook across the tree tops out to sea. Thanks Seungee it was just what we needed after a very hectic family reunion the previous weekend.

Thank you so much for your review. Indeed I wish you could return here and enjoy your stay again. Cake and flower with beautiful views will wait. Kind Regards Seunghee

“Comfortable and Cosy”

Reviewed 24 Nov 2014

Strawberry Mill is a beautiful little cottage. The owner is lovely and very accommodating. The cottage itself is very comfortable and cosy. We were a family of 5 visiting the week to attend a family wedding. A lovely pub is walking distance from the cottage. 5-10 min drive to the beach. Close to the town Llandudno and 45 min drive to Snowdon. We look forward to visiting Strawberry Mill sometime in the future. The Bell Family

Thank you so much that you let me know that you had a wonderful stay. If I could have made your special family occasion like wedding enjoyable by staying here, I feel so chuffed. I hope to see you again.

“Good facilities, comfortable accommodation, friendly and helpful hostess”

Reviewed 24 Nov 2014

Quiet location in grounds of main house, very friendly and helpful hostess but not intrusive, Excellent location for visiting historical towns and buildings, castles and gardens in North Wales. Accommodation of high quality, and good value. If we should revisit North Wales, Strawberry Mill would be at the top of our accommodation list. We had a splendid week varying between relaxing in the comfortable cottage and rushing around to the many nearby places of interest. Altogether a great week.

Thank you for your review. I agree that this location is beautiful and rural yet central and easy to get to any attractions by main road. I feel great satisfactions that you could enjoy your stay here, I sincerely hope to see you again.

“A lovely cottage!”

Reviewed 23 Nov 2014

I travelled for the night with my husband and then 5 year old daughter so that we could visit the Welsh Mountain Zoo nearly. It was a really good location to get there and in to town. We were near enough to go to Llandudno for the day too. The place was warm and cosy and the owners friendly. We loved the bath! There was a great pub a short walk away with lovely food and views. Thank you.

Thank you so much for your visit. I wish it made that special touch enough for you! I Hope to see you again soon.

“Enjoyable Stay”

Reviewed 23 Nov 2014

Really enjoyed our stay in Strawberry Mill cottage. Very comfortable, warm and cosy. Well equipped with everything needed for our stay including a welcoming gift of chocolates. Nice position with good views. Seunghee was very friendly and helpfully with lots of knowledge about the local area and places to go. Would love to visit again soon

Thank you for your review. Good complements indeed encourage me to try harder for the comfort of my guests. I will try to bake a cake next time for you!!! I hope to see you again.

“Excellent value for money, beautiful location, considerate owner!”

Reviewed 22 Nov 2014

My husband and I picked this location as our first Trip Advisor holiday cottage. It is small but well presented, set away from the main roads and on the same property as the proprietress, Seunghee. The location is excellent, at the top of a hill to the town (very steep and lengthy walk, not for the unfit), there is a pub and a convenience store a short, easy walk away and it is very peaceful. Make sure you use the driving directions to the house that Seunghee provides - she knows what she's talking about!! Access to the house is very straightforward if you follow those direction and makes it easy to find after a day exploring. There are some comments that the cottage is too close to the owners house - Seunghee and her family are very considerate and we used the curtains and blinds as all tenants should - this for us was therefore never a problem. Our niggles with the property are minor - the cottage is in need of some TLC and updating, the wi-fi is a bit flaky and we noticed that the toilet's cleaning materials were left out loose (we've been told that this has been sorted after our departure, so shouldn't be a point now!). However the house for us was very clean and tidy with cutlery, cooking utensils, towels and blankets, even local takeaway menus. Seunghee saw to our every need. She is extremely conscientious and thoughtful towards her guests, writing out a list of local areas to visit off the beaten path and even baked us a home made chocolate cake (exquisite). We had a huge problem with the hot water and Seunghee went out of her way to make sure we looked after whilst it was being fixed, so we haven't a single complaint about how it was handled and it did not spoil our holiday. The need for some investment and attention to the house is the only reason we haven't rated this a five. But in just about every other aspect this house is a real gem. It is EXCELLENT value, an ideal location, perfect size for couples, even has a zoo within walking distance but most of all is Seunghee - she is an excellent hostess.

Thank you so much for your review. I only hope I made your holiday special enough. I believe holiday is an important moment of our life to make some decisive turns. I wish this compound will be a respite place to make it all positive. I only wish you experienced that here. You mentioned TLC in the house- I wish you meant it by the water I sorted whilst you were here and cleaning products for which I got the trunket for. Thank you again for lovely review and really look forward to seeing you here again. All the best to your family!

“Relaxing Place To Stay! We Will Be Returing.”

Reviewed 28 May 2013

Stayed at Strawberry mill at the begining of April with my 2 young sons, my best friend and her son. We decided to stay here after reading the previous reviews and the excellent price for the 3 nights. The cottage is in beautiful surroundings and excellent views of the sea. Really nice bathroom with a lovely bath. Nice big bedroom with a comfortable double bed. The cottage is well equiped and the owner even supplied a travel cot for my 2 year old. The kids loved the outside area, playing on the trampoline, swings and slide. The owner gave us plenty of information and advised us of places to visit. Even helped us log on to the free wifi when we were having problems. Had a lovely few days with the sun shining and will definatly be returning sometime soon with my husband to be. 5 stars for this cottage!!

“Well equiped, comfortable and clean property.”

Lovely property with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Bathroom amazing! Swing, slide, trampoline and tennis court in the grounds for guests use. Helpful, friendly owners.

Thank you so much for the review. I wish my guests could enjoy that magic touch of holiday feel. If you enjoyed it, then it is great reward to me. Thank you again and hope to see you again!

“Homely, tranquil cottage in picturesque town with plenty to do and see... Awesome!”

Reviewed 20 Jan 2013

My husband and I had a truly wonderful stay at Strawberry Mill. The cottage is immaculate, charming and homely. It is fully equipped and a wonderful base for exploring the surrounding areas. There is much to do and plenty to see nearby including cable cars, cinema and shopping centres. Conway castle is spectacular and the views from all around Colwyn Bay are breathtaking. We had some great meals during our stay including delicious steaks, fancy pub food and a tasty Indian, which are all close by. We are definitely planning to return to the lovely cottage and fascinating town. Seunghee is the perfect host and checked with us a few times whether she could improve our stay in any way, which she couldn't! Top marks in all respects!

“Excellent accommodation”

Reviewed 17 Oct 2012

I stayed at Strawberry Mill with my husband, daughter and her partner and our 15 month old grandson. The accommodation was excellent, and in lovely surrounding with everything you could possibly need. Seunghee Lee was very friendly and concerned that everything was in order during our stay. We received prompt return of our deposit on leaving. Would definitely consider staying here again. We considered it to be very good value for money.
