Location, Amenities, Hospitality. This 1000 sqft 2-bed suite has them all. Built in 1896, this updated cozy suite is stocked to make your perfect home away from home. It has high-speed internet, fenced yard, washer/dryer, fully stocked kitchen, etc. Located convenient quiet neighborhood, you'll be walking distance to downtown, Old CO City, and plenty of breweries, coffee shops, and restaurants 1-min from I-25. 10-min to Gods and Manitou Springs. Airforce Academy and Fort Carson in under 20.

Description

This suite features beautifully updated interior with great recessed lighting, the most amazing location, and amenities galore (listed below). Clean and simple, each room has been thoughtfully decorated. Several of the rooms feature exclusive art by Sunny (my wonderful wife and co-owner). You'll have the entire downstairs guest suite to yourself (private entrance). You'll share the fenced yard with the upstairs guests.

If you want to cook or grill out, your suite is ready for you. Walk to the farmers market or organic grocery store. When you get back we have an assortment things to help you cook (pots, pans, utensils, etc) on our all-steel appliances. Or you can grill outside on our 700 SQIN charcoal grill. After your meal, clean up is a breeze with the dishwasher and garbage disposal. Needs something else? Please let us know!

Looking for a good restaurant or fun local bar? How about the best hiking or climbing? Being from here makes it easier for us to get you the local hook up. Want more towels or complimentary K-cups/snacks? Call or text and we'll make it happen. We are both your hosts and concierge. Plus we live next door if there is an emergency. But maybe you want some peace and quiet? No worries, we'll let you enjoy the space. We even have self-check-in, so you won't need to see us unless you want to.

Neighborhood Overview

This is a hip neighboorhood in Colorado Springs, nestled right up against the beautiful front range mountains (Beautiful views less than 100 feet off property). Definitely centrally located. Over 15 restaurants, a coffee shop, a brewery, and several parks are all under half under half a mile. Countless restaurants, three breweries, organic grocery stores, over 15 coffee shops and 7 parks (including a 10-acre dog park) in under a mile. Below is a completely uncomprehensive list of what is nearby. ... because are there are just too many cool places. If you want to see how far you'd be from something, use the Cerberus brewing company. They are under .4 miles from your next vacation spot. 10 Minute drive: Red rock canyon open space, Bear Creek Regional Park, the Broadmoor, Seven falls, and Olympic training center 15 Minutes drive: The Cog railway (the way to Pikes Peak for relaxers), Bar trail (the way to Pikes Peak for adventurers), the incline Cheyenne mountain zoo, Fort Carson 20 Minute drive: Peterson and the Airforce Academy. Pikes Peak can be seen from just off the property and is a one hour drive filled with spectacular views.

Getting around

Bars and nightlife? Walk! Shopping in the hip Old Colorado City? If your not active or buying a lot of cool artsy stuff, we recommend driving, but it is definitely walkable (We do it all the time!). Want to check out all Colorado Springs has to offer? We are just a 2-minute drive off of I-25. Park on the street out front. Its free and never ever full. Public transportation (other than uber) is limited but available.

Other things to note

Let us know if you prefer wine or beer. We'll have some waiting in the fridge for you upon arrival... totally complimentary of course (please drink responsibly). Smoking is allowed but smoking inside is a non-refundable 250 dollar cleaning fee. There is a 250 dollar cleaning fee for unauthorized pets. Service animals must be coordinated ahead of time.

House rules

- Please park on the west side of the street (mountainside, the side of the street the house is on)
- Pets are not allowed. (250 dollar fee for unauthorized pets)
- Smoking must be done outside, 10 feet from any entrance and not in or around the stairwell. We have a patio you may feel free to smoke on. There is a $250 smoke abatement fee to clean smoke smell out of a suite if this rule is violated.
- Quiet hours are from 9 PM to 7 AM weeknights and from 11 PM to 8 AM weekends.

How do damage deposits work?
