Situated 800 metres from the centre of Collioure and the sea, our spacious 2nd floor duplex style apartment enjoys excellent views of the sea and the surrounding hills. Located in a small and quiet residential development, the apartment was originally owned by the architect. It's certainly one of the better apartments available to rent in Collioure & is in excellent decorative order. Free parking is provided for a small to medium size car in a private garage below the apartment. The complimentary usage of the swimming pool is available from 1 June until the end of September.The apartment is fully equipped for year round living with modern electric heating (Really only req'd in January, if even) . Security is very good and there is a resident caretaker. Please note that the apartment is on the second floor of the building which is accessed by an outside set of steps. There is no lift or disabled access.Ideally located in the wonderful village setting of Collioure with access to beaches,vineyards and mountains. Easily accessible by public or private transport with private parking and shared communal pool (June-Sept.) Twice weekly local market with excellent local wineries and restaurants.Fantastic walking and cycling locally.

“Spacious apartment in a great location”
Four adults stayed here from June 10-17th. We are very particular about where we stay and the apartment didn't disappoint. The views from the balcony are stunning and the walk into Collioure centre is an easy one. Lots of information supplied about the local area and beyond which was great. The 'gardian' Patrick is extremely helpful and keeps everything in good order. One of our party said that the pool was the best he'd ever swan in. June is an excellent time to visit. There is plenty of choice with regards to eating out and the market on Sunday and Wednesday has a wonderful selection of local produce. If you're a lover of ice cream you'll be spoilt for choice! We all had a lovely relaxing stay.

“Great location, lovely pool, superb balcony view, well appointed”
august is busy in France and Collioure had its annual festival which had an amazing firework display on the beach. So we were pleased to be a short walk from the centre and get the quiet but join in when we wanted too. The duplex is spacious and had lots of nice touches including games, tasteful pictures on the walls and was well appointed. The balcony has views and overlooks the pool which is really well kept and a good size for someone like me who likes to swim. Patrick the concierge is really friendly and helpful and he and all the locals were sociable and made conversation in French. Mine is schoolboy but they were all encouraging. Spain is a short drive away. There is also a marine reserve 30 mins away. Great place.
“Mediterranean home with an English twist”
As soon as you enter the apartment you feel at home. There is a lovely atmosphere and so much space! The living room is very nice decorated with comfortable seats. The views are spectacular: seaview at the frontside and surroundings of Collioure at your bedroom window. The kitchen is full equiped: you will find everything you need. We especially liked the toaster. Two separate bathrooms and two separate toilets. Very convenient if you are with two couples or teenaged children. The swimming pool is perfect, we loved our morning swims every day. The 'gardien' keeps it clean every day. There is a lot of information about things to see or to do. Collioure is a very picturesque town, a dream come true. Nice shops and good restaurants. We loved our dinners at the seaside with the spectacular views everywhere you look. The beaches are small, but nice if you are not used to luxury. The food is delicious. So is the wine. Residence Colline is the best place for spending your holiday the Mediterranean way!
“Lovely French escape”
My husband, 2 children (aged 10 and 12) and I spent a week here in early July. It was our first time in this part of France and we were not disappointed. We got a taxi direct from Perpignan airport to the apartment as we didn't plan on hiring a car for our stay. The day of our arrival was blisteringly hot day so having negotiated our way up the stairs we were thrilled when we entered the apartment to open the doors to the balcony and see the pool underneath. That was our first stop! And we made plenty of use of it during our stay. Moreover a welcome hamper including bread, cheese, jam, butter, juice and wine was left for us which was really wonderful. The apartment itself is bright and spacious and has a real feeling of home from home with all essentials provided from toilet roll to washing powder to salt and pepper and even tea :). The views are fabulous stretching all the way down to the sea. Our trip happened to coincide with the European heatwave so it was extremely hot and the only negative we had of the apartment was that the air conditioning was a fan in each of the bedrooms. Probably under normal temperatures these would have sufficed but in the very hot weather we found it difficult to sleep. That said we loved the apartment - and the pool! - and the only change we would make is to probably aim to head there a little earlier in the year next time. Collioure itself is a very pretty harbour town. The most direct route was about a 10 minute walk down by the dry riverbed. (Directions to the riverbed are on the back of the door of the apartment). It is full of lovely restaurants, art galleries and shops and has 4 small beaches. We took the little tourist train which brought us up into the vineyards in the hills behind the town but other than that chose to spend our time enjoying the wonderful food, wine and scenery that was immediately to hand. Whilst we enjoyed all our meals we would in particular recommend 2 restaurants. For a great value cheap and cheerful place La Tambourin suited us perfectly with 2 courses for 12.50. They do pizzas and seafood. For more of a treat with a great variety of tapas and fresh seafood Les Mouettes on the other side of the harbour is well worth a trip. Be advised though it gets very busy so best to head there about 7. On our last day we walked to the train station to catch the train to Barcelona for the next part of our holiday. If you do choose to use public transport from the airport to the apartment be aware it's a good 25 minutes walk from the station up to the Residence. I personally felt the taxi fare was money well spent. I would highly recommend this apartment and Collioure and we are already looking forward to planning our return trip!
“A great place to visit Collioure and his region”
Very nice place to rest in a charming residence with a nice view on the surrounding hills (vineyard) and a welcoming and very well maintained swimming pool. The apartment is very comfortable, bright and spacious. It’s very welcoming and has got everything that’s needed for your stay. The terrace is very nice and offers a perfect place to have breakfast. Easy pedestrian access to the village (around 10 to 15 minutes walk). A car is not strictly needed to visit the nearest Vermeille coast (regular and frequent bus between Argeles and Cerbère, one way only 1 euro). If you want to visit Collioure and the region, this is a really good place to stay !
We stayed in the apartment in Collioure for a week in July. We thouroughly enjoyed it. The apartment is lovely and bright and there is loads of room in it. It is about 15 minutes from the town which is perfect. The apartment has everything you need it in. We look forward to returning soon.
“Great apartment with beautiful views”
Myself & a group of friends recently spent a really enjoyable week in Residence Colline. The apartment is bright, spacious & was fully equipped for our stay. The balcony has great views of the sea and the surrounding hillside, and I loved breakfast on the balcony in the sun each morning. The swimming pool and surrounding area is very well maintained and is a lovely place to spend the afternoon. The apartment is in a nice quiet location, about a 10 minute walk from the town centre. Collioure itself a typical old french town, with beautiful buildings and side streets filled with cafes and shops. We had such a relaxing holiday and will definitely be back!
“Comfortable accommodation and a lovely location”
We found this apartment spacious and relaxing with a lovely view overlooking Collioure bay in a quiet part of town, a 15 minute walk from the harbour. The apartment is suitable as long as you can cope with stairs leading up to the front door and then 3 flights of stairs up to the apartment itself but is certainly worth it for the view. The apartment itself was nicely decorated, with plenty of space for 4 adults - both bedrooms having their own bathroom was an advantage and everything required as regards to cooking and washing clothes. The pool is located just below the balcony and is very clean surrounded by sunbeds and attractive shrubs. Collioure is a beautiful historic town with so much to see and do - castle, harbour, shops and even a fort above the town if you like a more challenging walk. The traditional shops and restaurants were of a high standard and the local wine is a must especially the various Banyuls wines!! We would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone who is able bodied and who is looking for relaxation, lots of walks and good food and wine. A lovely holiday, thankyou.
“A bright, spacious & comfortable apartment with amazing views and ready access to beaches and hill walks”
My wife and iI spent a magical week at Residence Colline. The photos on the website > do not do the apartment justice. It is full of light. It is much more than a holiday apartment, it is decorated with such care and equipped with so many useful things (books, guides, bikes, kitchen gadgets, etc), it is like a home from home. With such magnificent views and at such a height, you do need to negotiate the many steps up to it. From the balcony, the view down the valley is wonderful . Again, photo no 4 on the website only gives a limited idea of the panorama. The sun shines onto the balcony (where we had our breakfast) and into the living room in the morning and into the bedrooms at the rear during the evening. Importantly, there are electrically-operated blinds on the windows in the bedrooms which otherwise could get very hot. The apartment complex and the swimming pool is very well maintained by the genial "gardien" Patrick (who speaks little English). We decided not to rent a car. Collioure is not a car-friendly town and parking at the complex is trickey. As the website indicates, the town centre is about a 10-12 minute pleasant walk. On arrival, we got the No 7 bus from Perpignan airport to the centre of the Perpignan and then a train from there to Collioure (there is also a bus service from the city to Collioure - the "€1 bus" - but it is neither frequent nor timely). It was quite complicated (French tourist office take note!). So, we got a taxi back to the airport. Also, the buses were on strike the day we departed!. We certainly did not miss the car, the walking trails in the vine-covered hills around Collioure are immediately accessible from the apartment and are absolutely wonderful. For the energetic walker, I recommend getting the €1 bus to Banyuls and waking back via the "Sentier Littora" (costal walkway) - there is a guide booklet in the apartment. Actually, we walked back only to Port-Vendres and took a taxi back to Colioure because we were tired. If you do walk, I recommend packing swimming togs and stopping for a refreshing swim at the beach at Paulilles. Wherever you walk, bring plenty of water. We bought wonderful fresh fruit, vegetables, cheese and honey at the Collioure market (Sundays and Wednesday) and from the classy takeaway "Traituer" on Rue Pasteur (opposite the boulangerie!). We bought a stunning seafood takeaway from the Poissonneries de la Côte Catalane in Porte-Vendres (I cycled over to collect it - not an easy task!). If you are a lover of seafood, this is your mecca. This review only gives a small idea of the beauty of this apartment and of the surroundings - a wonderful place and a magical holiday.
“Perfect apartment, in a gem of a town, in a facinating region, lots to do and see ,wonderful.”
Collioure is a picture postcard village, with a variety of restaurants and bars to enjoy. It is a great location for walking, cycling, visiting wineries or just walking the various beaches. A perfect base for exploring by foot , bicycle or indeed car. I visited in February, but the beaches looked great and I am sure that in summer they would be another great attraction. The apartment is very spacious with wonderful views. We found it a perfect location, close enough to the village to walk in and home from, but perfectly quiet for sleeping and relaxing. The double height living room with the balcony is large and welcoming with a great holiday vibe. The views over the village to the sea is a great way to start your day.
