25 meters from the beach, charming, spacious 2 bedroom apartment, located right in the heart of the village on Rue Mailly, a pedestrian street and just steps from the beach, restaurants, the historic church and art studios is the ideal place for a family holiday. The apartment has been newly renovated while still retaining its charming character.
Collioure, a beautiful medieval seaside village situated at the foot of the Pyrénées, boasts 5 beaches within the village and has a lively market twice-weekly, on Wednesdays and Sunday mornings. It's a mere 20km to Spain's Costa Brava and Cadaquès and has 320 days sunshine a year.
Locally, you can visit art-galleries and there are many options for nightly entertainment. There are plenty of sports activities including sailing (sailing school), deep-sea diving (diving school), tennis and hiking. There are music and theatre festivals, and the whole region is rich in architectural heritage. Enjoy a walk into the mountains or along the cliffs by the sea, or simply stroll through the steep flower-filled back streets of the historic Moure district where the apartment is located, and visit the Eglise Notre-Dame-des-Anges and the many wineries in the village. You don't need a car to visit the surrounding areas as the whole of Pyrenees Orientales is served by excellent bus and train services. The bus stop is 300 meters and the train station 500 meters from the apartment.

“A little slice of heaven!”
We struck gold finding Eddie , Collioure and his perfect seaside apartment. This place is indeed very special. And so too is Eddie! Thank you so much for all your recommendations, your tour of the town and for so generously allowing us a few extra hours of Collioure before continuing on our journey. To be able to nip back to the apartment from the Mediterranean Sea in 2 minutes if you forget a pair of goggles or bottle of water is a huge luxury! We would love to return one day. Heartfelt thanks!

Comfortable, private. very welcoming ambience. Included guest book with ideas and information from former guests . Very central to cafes, the harbour at the door and within walking distance to all the variety that old and more recent Collioure and people have to offer. I am very much looking forward to a return stay in 2016

“Tolles Appartement - Eddie, ein fantastischer Gastgeber”
Das sehr schön eingerichtete Appartement, welches keine Wünsche offen lässt, liegt mitten in der wundervollen Altstadt, mit den malerischen Gässchen. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist durchaus angemessen. Zum Strand ist es nur ein Katzensprung. Tagsüber ist Collioure sehr lebhaft, nachts findet man seine Ruhe. Alle von Eddie empfohlenen Ausflugsziele und Restauranttipps waren Gold wert! Er hat sich sehr viel Mühe gegeben, uns unseren Aufenthalt so angenehm als möglich zu gestalten. Absolut zu empfehlen!

“We Left Our Hearts in Collioure”
Eddie's apartment is in the heart of Collioure, literally less than a minute from the main beach. Shops, restaurants, beach are all within seconds of the flat. We were there during the annual festival, which was loud and fun. (The best fireworks we have ever seen) Even with some noise in the front living area, the bedrooms are in the back of the flat; we were amazed how quiet it was to sleep. The kitchen is well equipped, has a good sized refrigerator, gas stove top, everything needed to prepare meals. Although don't miss the many great restaurants. The only negative is there is no real view, although the only times we were inside was when we wanted a rest, so we did not mind. The convenience of being so close to everything was worth it. The best part of the stay is Eddie himself. He is a warm, kind, charming gentleman, who went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable. He made many great suggestions for restaurants, walks, entertainment. His concern to make sure we enjoyed ourselves was amazing...if I could give him a sixth star I would. We highly recommend Eddie's apartment for rent.

“Ideal location for a stay in Collioure”
Eddie the owner is a remarkable man, so friendly and helpful and a pleasure to meet. We felt quite at home from the moment we arrived. The apartment was tastefully decorated and had all we needed for a wonderful stay. It is located in a great part of the town in a pedestrian only area close to the beach, with many cafes, restuarants and shops nearby. We would recommend this property as a great place to stay and enjoy the delightful town of Collioure.

“Charming apartment with perfect location”
The apartments is only a few steps away from the beaches of colliour and the nearest restauant is litterally 10 steps away from the front door. We were four people having a wonderful few days in Collioure. It is not a big apartment, but I think it must be the best equipped apartment we've ever stayed at, including diving masks and offer to borrow flippers. Beds were comfortable and bathroom had a nice big shower. There are no outdoor space, but we didn't miss it being so close to the beach and with big windows with wide window sills (nice to sit and watch street life go by). A perfect location for relaxed holiday in beautiful Colliour!

“Central Location in Beautiful Town”
We stayed a week in the Apartment in June and the location is fantastic. It is very central, steps away from Restaurants and one of the beaches as well as shops. Collioure is a beautiful place , very picturesque and lots of character. The apartment is basically furnished but adequate for day to day use. We made good use of the fans at night as it did get hot. We also had rain but it was fascinating to watch the water pouring down the street and quickly clearing afterwards. There are some good restaurants for dinner, our favourites were Casa Leon, literally steps away and La Capillo which was just a bit further. The euro bus is brilliant, very efficient and the drivers helpful. We also got the train into Spain for a day. The beaches are stony so don't expect golden sand, but adequate to sit on and enjoy the sun. There are also lots of benches around so you can sit and watch world go by. Lastly, many thanks to Eddie the landlord who is so very hospitable and will do anything in his power to ensure you have a good holiday. He arranged our transport from the Airport and treated us to a lovely tapas lunch on arrival.

“Can't stay away from this wonderful place”
We are back to 10 Rue Mailly because of such good customer service given by the host Eddie Martin. He was generous with his time and gave us lots of information and tips so that we made the best use of our time. Time appears to get away very fast in Colliure. We love the property because it has all we need for a good time and it is so central to all the shops and historic sites too. I gave a review of the things to do in and around Colliure in Feb '14 see that review for more information. The things I like best is the top customer service that Eddie gives us and the beautiful surroundings one has in Colliure, even in the off season there are plenty of things one can do. Perhaps if one had a car then the parking facilities are not great around Colliure however, Eddie comes to the rescue there. Thank you again Eddie for being a wonderful host and we shall be back again in the not too distant future we hope, word is spreading here in Perth, so I will have to book early and I may not get the opportunity to come!!

“Mystical Place in the South of France”
The apartment had everything one requires to enjoy time away from home. A lovely 2 bed, on a pedestrian way, just around the corner from the sea. Eddy and his lovely daughter Aine were perfect hosts and it was a joy to share our time with them. Thank you so much for a perfect stay!

“Vacances par excellence”
Excellent location very close to harbour, beach, shops and restaurants. The apartment is quiet and has all the necessary equipment. The landlord was extremely helpful and couldn't do enough to ensure we enjoyed our stay. Collioure is a beautiful picturesque town and we enjoyed the superb local seafood and ice creams. We made good use of local transport and the 1euro bus as well as scenic walks along the coast and surrounding area. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning again in the near future.
