Spent some wonderful days during Easter, watched the Procession on Good Friday. Sat on the balcony and enjoyed the magnificent view over the mountains Spent some time on the beach in the nice and sunny weather Lots of fine shops and good restaurants. A very fine little town,

The lower apartment in this house is small. It sleeps two comfortably, but no more really. It is furnished to a high standard, with all the kitchen equipment you will need for your stay. The rental is not excessive for such a prime location in this beautiful village. Collioure is pedestrianised, but this doesn't mean that it is quiet. Vehicles can only use the narrow streets early in the day and pedesttrians can make noise too. This is not a sleepy backwater - and you shouldn't want it that way. This is a vibrant location with lots going on, and if the weather is good, you will not be spending much time indoors. We thoroughly enjoyed the apartmenyt, the location and the general atmosphere of Collioure.

Getting our luggage into this apartment was difficult - we'd come on from elsewhere in France and had a car-full of groceries to transport from the nearest accessible place for a car to wait, tricky in the dark. The apartment itself is small and a bit dark, but it's right in the heart of Collioure. The kitchen was fine for cooking as well as heating up paella from the twice a week market. Separate toilet and shower room was a bonus too. It would have been good to be aware - my fault for not checking - that it was fiesta week in Collioure which meant it was very noisy at night for at least half our stay. The internet worked fine, the apartment was beautifully clean when we arrived and the keybox arrangement worked well.

Fantastic location - it really is that close to the beach. No traffic allowed in the old town (apart from early morning deliveries etc). Very clean and comfortable apartment - can sleep 3, but really only suitable for a couple. Definitely recommend it!
