Description

The apartments have been renewed and still have the old local structures such as wood rafters, bricks arches and outside stones walls. They all have their own entrance, a living room with a fully equipped cooking area, one or more bedrooms, TV, an outside area with table and chairs and a place to park the car near the apartment. And also have access to a swimming pool.

Guests can choose between two different kinds of accommodations. We have apartments in the small village, near the reception and the pool where people can easily socialize, but we also have apartments in a farm-house along the estate for those who prefer a quiet and silent stay.

We grow grapes, olive-trees, corn and sunflowers, so that the 700 acres of the estate end up by forming a natural and coloured painting. You can taste the Extra-Virgin Olive Oil we produce in our own oil-mill and a very good “Chianti Colli Senesi” red wine.

“Quiet, relaxing and beautiful location, with great pool and comfortable accommodation.”

We stayed in the ground floor 2 bedroom farmhouse apartment, away from the 'village'. It was a beautiful setting, with great views. The outdoor seating/dining furniture had seen better days, but didn't spoil the enjoyment of eating outside and meeting the numerous farm cats. The apartment was spacious and cool in the hot august weather. The small kitchen area was well equipped for self catering, with a mishmash of crockery. A kettle was supplied immediately when requested, apparently it was only English who asked for them! Beds were very comfortable and there was lots of storage space and hangers. We were glad of the satellite flat screen TV for Olympics coverage! Bathroom was a good size, shower a bit dated but fine. It was a very peaceful, relaxed, rural setting. We enjoyed the large pool,a short drive/walk away, which was in a lovely setting with lots of chairs, loungers, umbrellas and even a changing/bathroom. Never busy, even in August we had some periods when we had it to ourselves. The only criticism was that most of the loungers were broken and wouldn't recline. Carla was welcoming, very helpful and with excellent English. We had a fantastic time!

How do damage deposits work?
