Location description from owner

Northern Ireland region

If you choose to stay the apartment is ideal for exploring the north Antrim coast. Within a half hours drive you can visit all the famous attractions including the Giants Causeway, Dunluce Castle and Carrick-a-rede rope bridge. The costal region has breathtaking natural beauty, take a drive along the coast road (great motorcycle route) to view it and stop at the beauty spots and viewing points along the way. Stop for some ice cream, fish and chips and or sample the great local restraunts serve a array of desirable food.

Coleraine is the largest and main town on the Causeway Coast. Situated on the banks of the River Bann, Coleraine has an attractive pedestrian town centre with award winning floral displays. Soaked in history, charm and character, the town offers a unique mix of old and new with first class shopping, historic buildings and several parks ideal for families. Follow the Walking Heritage Trail round the old 17th Century Plantation town. For further information, check out the Guide to Coleraine or visit the website

Coleraine

Coleraine has great road and rail links to travel west to Londonderry city and east to Belfast. One can explore the citys history and view the ancient architecture , visit museums, shop and enjoy soaking in the friendly welcome to visitors by locals. I recommend once you have taken in the North Coast and all it has to offer, take time to visit the Ulster Folk and Transport Museum just outside Belfast. If you travel in the direction of Omagh a must visit is the Ulster/American folk park where on is transported from Ulster to a new life in America in time past. While in that area venture through the Marble Arch caves.

“Fabulous short stay”

Reviewed 15 May 2017

From the moment of booking the apartment till the time we arrived; went really smoothly. It was in immaculate condition and had everything we could need. The beds were really comfortable. It was like a home from home. Having the supermarket downstairs was really handy. It was a lot more expensive than other supermarkets and it did not sell alcohol but for those last minute things , it was good. The university train station was just a 2 minute walk from the apartment through the estate. We used it to go to Portrush to watch the Northwest 200 racing. The nearest pub is in the town centre which is about a 30 minute walk. We had a good meal at the Old Courthouse and the beer was reasonably priced. Would definitely stay at the apartment again.

Owner's reply: Thank you for taking the time to write such a wonderful review. We are always pleased when guests enjoy all that Malachi has to offer. Mentioning the handiness of the train station is a help for those using public transport. Thanks again for staying and perhaps we will have the pleasure of welcoming you back in the future. Kind regards John
