Heatherlea is a recently modernised, 4 bedroom stone built house in the beautiful coastal village of Coldingham. Heatherlea is just a few yards from all the local amenities.

There is a fully equipped kitchen and separate utility room, 2 double and 2 twin bedrooms, a lounge with open fire and double aspect windows overlooking the garden, a shower room and a bathroom.

The enclosed private cottage garden to the rear is south facing and the lawn and paths are surrounded by flower beds. There is also a paved seating area and purpose built bbq ideal for relaxing or dining.

Heatherlea has everything for your comfort and relaxation ensuring that you enjoy your holiday to the full.

Coldingham is the ideal location for exploring the beautiful local countryside with easy access to Edinburgh and Northumberland.

We will normally meet guests on arrival at Heatherlea but on the rare occasions we are not available there is a key safe attached to the side of the left hand front door. A code will be supplied prior to your arrival. There is a welcome pack which includes useful and practical information about Heatherlea, links to websites for suggestions of 'what to see and do' during your stay and local bus and train timetables. You will find a bottle of Prosecco, butter and milk in the fridge and bread, tea, coffee and sugar in the kitchen. We provide logs, coal and kindling for the open fire and charcoal for the bbq.

“Lovely stay”

We have just returned from a weekend at Heatherlea. It was a lovely, comfortable cottage with everything you need for a stay. We would definitely recommend and intend to come back.

Chris & Laura are the perfect hosts , met us at Heatherlea , and they had thought of everything , Left us a lovely welcome pack and a bottle of Prosecco chilling in the fridge The house itself is just fabulously quirky , lots of lovely little touches too , thoroughly enjoyed our weekend here as a family of 8 ladies , very spacious , plenty of room for us all , lovely garden too Will definately return , thanks again Chris & Laura x

The house is very interesting and is equipped for every need. The beautifully tended garden is a real boost. Close to the beach, St Abbs, Eyemouth, Alnwick Castle - all worth a visit.
