"A second home"
This was my third stay at Shireburne Park in the self catering apartments and I have never ceased to be impressed with the standard of the accommodation and fittings and the friendliness and helpfulness of all the staff. The three different apartments were all tastefully decorated and well equipped even down to champagne glasses in one which proved very useful when I had my family over for a celebration meal. There is constant hot water (no meters), efficient heating in the winter, ample parking space, a handy launderette and plenty of cupboards and hanging space. In addition, you are a short walk down to the river and the Spar shop or a slightly longer stroll into Clitheroe which is a super place to shop, browse, dine out or sight see. I also had to change my bookings two or three times to adjust my dates and it was dealt with smoothly and efficiently by the lovely ladies in the office. Nothing is too much trouble and I received a welcoming smile on every visit. Since moving abroad to work and selling my cottage in the UK I have had to rely on rented accommodation when I come home and it needs to be somewhere I feel comfortable and where I can entertain family and friends during my visits. Shireburne is the perfect solution in terms of location, facilities and value for money. Thank you.
