It has been recently refurbished and offers a wonderful place to escape and unwind and is just perfect for a romantic getaway. Compact in size but big on charm with its deep windowsills and country decor. Clifden offers a variety of shops, pubs and award winning restaurants not to mention its scenic sky road. There are a huge choice of beaches all along this coastline and a hike up Diamond hill in Connemara National Park is a must, as is a visit to Mayo through the best scenery Connemara has to offer.
