Description from owner

Description

A 150sqm (1500sq.ft.) superb apartment with 3 double bedrooms, with two bathrooms, on the ground floor of an 5 star apartment block, with eight apartments. The apartment is usually booked by two adults with two teenage children, or two sets of two adults, and sometimes by three couples. The summer nights have everything you could wish for on the Balcony, and the buzz of the town close at hand, and no one needs to worry about the breathalyser. 2015 follows a Clifden Celebration Year and will draw many events and entertainers to the Town, which boasts a range of weekly events throughout the summer, such as the Jazz Week, the Connemara Pony Show and Sales, the Clifden Arts Festival, Visitor Golf Tournaments at Connemara Golf Club, Salmon and Sea Trout Fishing at Lough Inagh Lodge, Ballinahinch Castle, River Eriff and Kylemore, in fact when is there a week when nothing is happening? Walking & Cycling holidays are very much the in thing in Connemara. Festivals and Concerts throughout

Location description from owner

The Western Ireland region

Clifden Town is the capital of Connemara, the North West region of special conservation in the County of Galway, in the West of Ireland. It is a holiday town; geared for tourism, and the choice between "far from the madding crowd" and the hustle of pub craic, and organized musical festivals throughout the season Night life

abounds, being the central income earner for the small urban community. Wifi facilities

are freely available throughout the town.

Visit Kylemore Abbey, with it's Victorian Gardens and the gardens at Cashel House and Ballinahinch Castle. Golf at Connemara, Westport, and Oughterard combines with other sporting facilities to make for a pleasurable holiday. If walking, swimming, surfing and snorkeling are not active enough for you. Clifden is a safe and exciting place for young people, who never get bored here, and offers parents too the sort of convenience and easy access that's needed when the sun goes down!!! Unwind in the world famous traditional music and Guinness pubs around the town.

Clifden

There is a local Tourist Office which can describe better than I the wide range of events and organizations that manage the Town's summer catalog of entertainments.

Arte Week in September is always eagerly supported and brings lots of tourists

and music lovers to the town.

The Connemara Pony Show will always show the best of breed and many famous horsey faces

from all over Europe as well.

Basically, everything is provided for your holiday and I also have a website for this

property with the Google language translation system in operation on the right hand

side of the page.

“Best apartment in Clifden”

Reviewed 7 Jun 2015

This is an excellent property, very comfortable, quite luxurious really. The locations is what really makes it , being so close to the town centre but there being no sense of that once inside. The views are lovely watching the constantly changing tides and sky. If you want a holiday in Clifden where you don't have to drive everywhere and where you have dozens of shops and eateries within literally seconds walk, then this is the one you want, no doubt about that.

“Home from home”

Reviewed 18 Sep 2013

this apartment is not only perfectly situated in the centre of Clifden, but also enjoys fabulous views from the terrace at the back. It is full of homely furniture, pictures etc giving it a real home from home feeling.

“The Nearest Thing To Heaven - The Views The Apartment Excellent”

Reviewed 2 Jan 2012

I/we would definitely go back again. The apartment is situated in an ideal position. The views are just breathtaking. The Manager of the apartment was so helpful he could not do enough for me and my family. The owner was also very kind to me and this kindness from both the Owner and Manager I/we will never forget. The apartment was very clean and very well presented in every way. Clifden is awesome and we have never seen such beauty. We visited great places and as I reiterate we will definitely be back again. Thank you Rod for everything and Thank you Gerry and wife (Managers) for making our stay just fantastic.
