Take a photo tour around Pier View - this lovely 2-bedroom, 2-bath/shower-room apartment in a Victorian house built about 1880 in Clevedon’s seaside Conservation Area. The apartment is offered on a 7-day full week basis, with changeover on Friday; and also on 3-days weekend, plus 4-days weekday basis with changeovers on Friday and Monday. Please enter your specific dates and details of your group to check availability and exact prices. If your dates are available you can make an 'instant booking'. But do ask if you have any questions, we try to reply quickly. Please note that we only do changeovers on weekdays. We are unable to do changeovers on Saturday or Sunday (it doubles our cleaning costs and we want to keep our prices low)

Corona virus is a concern: we use a professional cleaning company who after each stay supply two staff working for 3-person hours to provide a complete hygienic clean. They remove all used linen and clean all surfaces using anti-microbial detergents. They wet clean floors and vacuum clean all carpets. They provide fresh linen which has been professionally laundered at high temperature and steam pressed by Johnson’s cleaners.

The apartment has been recently renovated and features classic high ceilings, beautiful coving, and period features such as (restored) sash windows that slide effortlessly (but provide complete, cosy draught-proofing). It is equipped with modern amenities: large screen HD TV, DVD player, FREE Wifi, full central heating and hot water, thermostatic radiators in all rooms, modern bathroom fittings and facilities, dishwasher, washing machine, double oven cooker, and halogen hob, microwave cooker, etc.

There is also an included private, off-street, reserved parking space in the car-park directly behind the house, invaluable at busy times. The reserved space has marker posts to ensure that the whole space is available: length: 5.5m (18ft), width 3m (9ft 10in), with lots of space to open doors; large enough for practically all cars and SUV's.

Of course Pier View also has a great view of Clevedon’s beautiful Victorian Pier, the UK’s only Grade 1 listed Pier, now complete with its (new 2016) Heritage Centre and Museum. The apartment is a 2 minute walk from The Beach and the Pier. It’s interesting to sit in the large bay window of this first floor apartment to see a great view of the dramatic (2nd highest on Earth) tide with its maximum range of almost 50 ft (or 15m). The spectacular newly renovated Marine Lake is also a short 10 minute stroll away (you can take a free dip); the nearby Salthouse Fields features Clevedon's miniature Railway line and often has events and bouncy castle. It’s hardly surprising that parts of the Broadchurch TV series was filmed in Clevedon.

Equally important, the apartment is within very easy walking distance of Clevedon’s many cafes and restaurants. Trip Advisor provides the usual ranked list including seaside cafes for breakfast, coffee and lunch and for a wide range of excellent lunchtime and evening dining venues, such as Il Giardino (possibly the best Italian restaurant for 100miles), Junior Poon, The Limehouse, Scoozi, and Fish & Chips on the Pier etc., all within a short 3..10 minute stroll away. So there is no need to drive to enjoy a wide choice of food and drink.

No smoking at this property

House rules

Ideal for one or two couples and for families with one or two children.

Mattresses are practically new; and not fitted with extra protection; nor can we clean damaged mattresses. Hence for small children we expect you to bring and use any protection needed. If a mattress is damaged our only solution is to replace it and ask you to refund costs. We’re sure you’ll understand our wish for later guests to find the house as clean and fresh as we aim to provide for your visit.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Rebecca (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
