“An oasis of calm in a fabulous location run by the loveliest people in the world!”

Reviewed 18 Jul 2014

Our third visit to Grand Hermitage and already booked for next year! It is like coming home and in a fabulous area of France - great food, great wines and great company! Barbara and Richard are always on hand if you need anything but discreet when you don't - fantastic individual touches in the gites and the pool is a delight when it's hot! We just love this place and even the drive there and back added to a wonderful break! Can't wait for our next visit!

“Wonderful, perfect place to do your own thing in luxury”

Cigale was everything it said on the website, the view from the bath over the vines was gorgeous. Handmade local soaps and lovely hotel style toiletries, very comfortable bed and lots of privacy/space inside and outside. Barbara and Richard very welcoming and helpful - perfect balance without being intrusive in any way.

“Tre bien!”

We had a lovely stay thanks to Richard and Barbara and the delightful ambiance of this beautiful property. The interior is stunning, elegant stairway and open aspect. The contrasting wild garden is refreshing and amusing, the chickens sweet and silent. We love the area and hope to return.

“the villa exceeded my expectations -delighted with it”

Reviewed 9 Aug 2012

We had a poor experience with a villa booking in Spain and so were a little apprehensive regarding our booking. However, the villa was at least as good as its description online and the view of the pool when you enter is stunning. The house is very generously proportioned, with a very high ceiling and two French doors, one giving onto the pool and the other onto the garden. The standard of finish is very high and we were without nothing that we needed. Barbara and Richard are very friendly whilst not being intrusive, which suited us. Highly recommended to those seeking peace and quiet, in a sunny climate, with the facilities of a small town within walking distance.
