Description

Although a traditional property, once inside, you can be forgiven for thinking that you are in a new build show home. The open plan stunning kitchen leads directly onto the lounge. A spiral staircase leading to the first floor is an eye catching feature. Once upstairs a spacious bedroom with king size bed and has its own en suite wet room. The garden is very private and enjoys plenty of sunshine!

Ground floor: Living room with wooden floor/kitchen with dining area and tiled floor. Spiral stairs to first floor: 1 kingsize bed bedroom with en-suite shower room and toilet.

Gas CH, gas, elec, bed linen and towels included 43" plasma TV. Gas cooker. Washer/dryer. Fridge with small freezer compartment Patio doors lead onto garden with secluded decking area for sitting-out. On road free parking. Pets welcome free of charge. No smoking.

“A few nights away”

We stayed at Highgate cottage from the 15th - 18th Sept.We really enjoyed our stay there. It is close to all amenities.The cottage itself is a little gem it's modern and so clean. We couldn't believe how quiet it was with all the surrounding houses. We would have no hesitation in recommending Highgate cottage to friends and family Ian and Lorraine

We have stayed here previously and enjoyed it just as much second time around. In a great spot quiet but handy for everything. Communication with the owner is excellent and Helen is very accommodating. We would stay again.

“Lovely cottage”

We stayed in Helens cottage for three days with our two dogs, the cottage is very comfortable,very modern with attention to detail. The beach is just five mins away, plenty of shops, lots of takeaways if you don't fancy cooking. We would definitely be interested in coming back. The only downside was parking which was unfortunate. All in all a very enjoyable stay Debbie, Mark and the pooches,prada and paris

“Lovely little cottage”

We had a wonderful weekend at the cottage . Beautifully kept and ideal location for walks down the front with the dogs. Also very handy for shops and restaurants 5-10 mins walk in the other direction. Everything you could need amenity wise at the cottage and the addition of treats and milk by the owner was very much appreciated. We were lucky enough to have sunshine during our stay so could make use of the suntrap garden which is beautifully planted up . Perfect place for a cuppa or a glass of vino. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend to all.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Helen (the owner) a message.

If Helen (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
