Some reviews from previous agencyJohn Sept 2013 10 out of 10General CommentsDelightful, modern, out of the way wooden lodge with lots of space and extremely well equipped. If you are looking for a base for northern Skye - this lodge will be ideal. You are near enough to Portee (8 miles or so) to stock up at the supermarket, close to a good road (to get around and about) but down a track to the accommodation (making it feel quite isolated). I've stayed in dozens of cottages - several rated 5* - this is rated 4* but is actually one of the best we have ever stayed in (presumably no trouser press or something equally quirky missing off the 'tick list'. We have already booked again for 2014!Confirmed guest:12 October 2013Oldham Couple July 2013 10 out of 10General CommentsThe Lodge was a fantastic cottage, well equiped and very comfortable. I would highly recommend it to anyone.Confirmed guest:14 September 2013Neil Sept 2013 10 out of 10 FamilyGeneral CommentsAn excellent choice for a family who wanted to ecape work and school for their Summer holidays. Good access to key services in Portree but far away enough to feel truly rural.Confirmed guest:03 August 2013Angela August 2013 10 out of 10Doncaster FamilyGeneral CommentsExcellent location. Very well equipped and comfortable. Excellent value for money.Kenny June 2013 10 out of 10Aviemore FamilyGeneral Comments +Everything about the lodge was good, even the weather, nice relaxing week, and a good base to explore the island. Would come again.- In the bedroom where the twin beds are, the internal window that looks out the front, over the mezzanine, a curtain would be good as kids who were sleeping in that room had light till 11pm at night and from 3.30amConfirmed guest: 13 July 2013(Owner - This has now been rectified().
