"A home from home.........with an amazing heated pool and much more sunshine"
Amazing from the moment we booked with Mike, anyone can rent out their property abroad but what made all the difference was all the added extras, from tips about where to get the best car rental prices, flights and places to look at visiting while we were there to all the books, sports equipment, and creature comforts at the house, it was fantastic. The house is spacious, comfortable and cosy in the evenings, the heated outdoor pool was used all day, every day and kept our 10 year old entertained throughout, the outdoor space was great, and we found it was equipped with everything you could ask for. You can do as much or as little as you like, it's very quiet which was just we needed but if you want to go out and explore there are plenty of activities to choose from, the guide book in the house will give you lots of ideas and inside information on places to eat etc, just be mindful that they don't have very long opening hours during the weekend but once we worked that out we found some amazing places to eat. Overall, it was just what the doctor ordered and we are planning a return sometime next year :)

"Great place to get away from it all"
We stayed at La Grange with family and some friends. Great place to get away from life's stresses. Excellent directions and information provided by the owner. The pool is wonderful it's heated so you can use it year round. Our only comment would be the premises needs a bigger freezer especially as the property is able to hold 8 guests. La Grange is so peaceful and allows you unwind. The view of the stars at night is amazing and so clear. Would recommend La Grange to you if you want to get away, relax, unwind and enjoy some wonderful French food and wine.
Thank you very much for the glowing review! So glad you enjoyed your stay at La Grange. We will be reviewing the freezer situation for the 2016 season - so there will be plenty of room to store frozen food from next year. The feedback is very much appreciated.

"FANTASTIC HOLIDAY - WILL VISIT AGAIN SOON"
A friend of ours arranged for us all to rent La Grange for a week with them and our crazy toddlers!!! We had a fantastic time. The house was clean and very well equipt with everything you need to ensure you have a great holiday. A real home from home plus great location, weather and pool. I've a severe back problem and the bed was high quality and comfortable which makes a pleasant change! The pool and outside areas were perfect with decked area to relax on, grass area to play on and dining areas in both the sun and shade which is particularly important with young children. The location was peaceful giving us business owners the opportunity to actually relax, however free wifi meant that we could also stay in touch when required. All in all it was the best holiday that we have had with children and we cant wait to arrange a second visit. Perfect!!

"Beautiful house in a fabulous location."
Not knowing the area we were overwhelmed by its beauty. The house is what you would expect of a typical French farmhouse with all the amenities. We had guests stay with us over the four months we took the lease. All being more than happy with the quality of the house. There are many places to visit in the area.

"The best sleep I've had in ages..."
I stayed at La Grange for a week in the Autumn with some friends. Although the weather was too cool for a dip in the lovely new pool (gutted), we took advantage of nights in front of the log burner eating cheese and wine. Bliss. The one thing I noticed on our first night is how quiet it is - not a sound at night. It's one of the best night sleep I've ever had! The house itself is well equipped, minimalistic yet comfortable - and spotlessly clean. We took advantage of the huge DVD library and board games - so there was plenty to occupy us in the evenings. The surrounding countryside is beautiful - we took advantage of all the best bits including some amazing restaurants - as the owner supplied a really comprehensive guide. The recommendations were spot on. Really enjoyed ourselves and would definitely stay again in the future.

"Cheese, Wine and very Relaxing.... What more do you need???"
This is the second time we have stayed at La Grange and i must say it gets better. The owners have since installed a outdoor heated swimming pool as well as a large decking area which looks amazing. Unfortunately the weather was not on our side and we only managed to get into the pool once while we were there. Mike has ensured that the 'house information pack' is full of things to do in all types of weather so we clocked up a few miles on the car while we were there. He has also ensured a good amount of information on restaurants. The house is extremely comfortable and very well decorated with all 'mod cons', so if wanted to stay in and cook for yourself or just watch a DVD with a glass of wine and some cheese, everything is there for you to use. We would definitely go back again with friends and/or family as La Grange is fantastic place just to get away from it!!

"Perfect find in France"
I was looking for a spacious villa to host a special celebration with friends and came across La Grange. It comfortably housed 8 of us and could take more! The converted farmhouse is a charming place to stay offering a genuine French experience as the surrounding areas are still home to the french as opposed to ex-pats. Mike, our host, provided an excellent handbook to the property, amenities and attractions close by. La Grange was spotless and the decor immaculate. To have a pool too, was the cherry on top! I cannot recommend this property enough. We'll definitely head back for French fix!

"A perfect escape - charm and luxury all in one"
If you're undecided as to whether you want tranquility and quiet or a little bit of luxury then you don't have to choose with La Grange. I visited with a group of friends and a toddler and this location suited us all. Lots of space, a fully equipped kitchen, wonderful showers, sleeping arrangements for couples plus singles, whatever suits! A lovely dining area and plenty of room for relaxing both inside and outside. Plus, if the weather is bad you can cosy up with a surprising range of books and board games to suit parties of all sorts. But if the weather is good, the pool is a massive bonus. Great fun to be had in a beautifully peaceful location remote enough for privacy but still close enough to easily access local facilities and beauty spots so you can definitely have the best of both worlds! Including a charming pub in walking distance (the walk itself is worth a mention).

"Stunning, relaxing and tranquil"
I have stayed at La Grange twice and both times I have thoroughly enjoyed it. I love the house, the furniture is classic yet with a modern twist which suits this type of property. Both bathrooms are clean and modern and all mod cons are available meaning you don't have to pack too many clothes. What made our second trip even better was the addition of the NEW POOL! Even though the weather wasn't on our side this visit the pool had been heated to a temperature where we could still use it. It was also great that pool towels are provided so you don't need to worry about packing them. As mentioned above the weather wasn't too kind to us but the property has plenty of DVD's , games and books to keep us entertained on those rainy days. A car is a must for this property as most attractions are about an hour drive but also means you get to experience more of the French countryside. However, if visiting the property out of season I would suggest double checking opening times as they sometimes vary from the properties manual. Telephone numbers and website addresses are provided in the manual. I would recommend this property for big groups and/or family visits as it's a great space.

"Never have I ever..."
Never have I ever been tempted to get into an outdoor pool in the middle of September at half eleven at night. That is until I stayed at La Grange. A heated pool with a fountain means relaxation and cooling off during the day whilst making it usable throughout the evening. Who could want more! La Grange isn’'t walking distance to the shops or bars but you don’t stay here to walk into town. You stay here to recline in the sun and relax in a stylish converted farm house. Shops, bars and places to eat are all easy driving distance but copious amounts of good wine, good cheese and good company is what this place is really designed for. It was also nice to see an advert for a house that says ‘sleeps 8’ actually does sleep 8 people, in 8 genuine bona fide beds. No pull out sofa nonsense here.
