Recently refurbished character Gite set in the French countryside approximately 5 mins from Civray market town.

The property comprises of 3 double bedrooms, 2 have king size beds and the other 2 single beds. The master bedroom has an en suite and there is a large family bathroom. There is a modern kitchen which has been refitted and a spacious dining area. It has a separate lounge with cable TV and leather sofas.

Outside there is a patio area with seating and a bbq and large gardens and a good size above ground swimming pool.

Fabulous location - deep in the heart of the French countryside, yet close to local amenities. Gorgeous garden and property that is filled with character. Having access to a pool was wonderful. Jean and Alan are very helpful hosts, and provided us with a lot of information about things to do in the area. Overall, a great stay and will be booking again. Would well recommend!

“Relaxing week in southern france!”

I had been needing a break from my crazy city life for a while now and let me tell you- this was the perfect escape! Jean and Alan were very welcoming and have such a beautiful property. The gite was clean, spacious and in such a great location! They gave me lots of tips on towns to visit nearby. I highly recommend eating out one evening at the delicious Indian restaurant in Angouleme (Jean and Alan will know the one) - Best Indian food I've had in a long time! Overall wonderful stay, would certainly visit again if I have the opportunity :)

“A beautiful stay in the French countryside”

Jean and Alan were so accommodating for me and my children. They welcomed us with a bottle of wine and some fresh croissants and were available whenever we needed them. Jean also provided us with a dozen leaflets of things to do locally. For the property itself, it’s a beautiful refurbished rustic getaway that felt like a home away from home. I will definitely be rebooking in the future.

Ive recently stayed at this beautiful chateau with a group of friends for a long weekend. The owners are the loveliest couple and very accomodating to us. The house is very spacious, with a beautiful garden and dining area and pool. Perfect place for sunbathing and disconnecting from a busy city life, very close drive to supermarkets like Lidl and also close to small french towns full of character! Id definately go back! 10 out of 10 recommend. PS: they also have the 2 cutest cats!

How do damage deposits work?

If Jean (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
