Our villa consists of a large lounge/diner, kitchen, three double bedrooms, and two bathrooms - well equipped for couples or families.

Two bedrooms have their own balconies, ideal for sunbathing throughout the day.

The front entrance to the villa has a substantial shaded patio with table and chairs, which is ideal for barbecues and outside eating. The property has front, rear, and side patios.

The community gardens are attractively landscaped and include a large swimming pool and smaller children's pool.

Cuidad Quesada town centre is about 10-15 minutes walk from the villa - it has many local shops including a supermarket which caters for international needs, numerous restaurants and bars, banks, and medical centre.

Torrevieja is a traditional Spanish city and port, thus having 'high street' shopping in town and major supermarkets are to be found on the road approaching Torrevieja from Ciudad Quesada.

There are many coastal locations very suitable for swimming and paddling in the sea, clean beaches, and sunbathing - the nearest is Guardamar, but there are many other lovely safe bays off the coastal road N332 which can usually be reached within 15 - 20 minutes (subject to traffic volumes in the summer which may lengthen journeys).

Initial contact preferred by email to confirm latest availability, following confirmation of availability, a deposit of 25% plus Holiday Lettings booking fee will be required to firm up the booking.

Full payment will be required 4 weeks prior to taking up the booking, together with a security / damages deposit £150 which is fully refundable, subject to confirmation from the local agent that there are no breakages or damages to be recovered from this deposit.

Please note that we keep our rental price low to take account that there is a further fee of 95 euros payable directly to our local agent who 'meets and greets' guests upon arrival to hand over keys and show guests around the house and operation of items such as the TV. This local fee also covers preparing the house and beds before you arrive, recovering keys upon departure, all cleaning and laundry on departure, and checking the inventory to release your security deposit.

We try to be flexible on the changeover day as we understand that airlines offer attractive fares for midweek travel. However, in the peak season, weekend changeover dates are preferred to avoid blank periods at this critical time. See our rental rates for SPECIAL DEALS with lower rates, booked by 1st April.

Air conditioning is provided in the lounge and main bedroom - it is also suitable for winter heating. The villa has been made as child friendly as possible.

The villa is at the end of a block of properties, therefore, enjoys substantial space which has patios at the front, side and rear with lockable gates to aid child safety whilst playing outside.

Smoking is not permitted inside the property, but is OK outside where there is an ashtray available.

The Valencian Country region

Ciudad Quesada is midway between Alicante and Murcia airports, both about 30 minutes away by motorway, or 40 / 50 minutes on the coastal route (longer journeys may be encountered in the Summer due to heavy volumes of traffic).
The whole coastline from south of Alicante has many beaches available. The nearest is the extensive beach of golden sands at Guardamar del Segura which is approximately 10 minutes drive - it has children's playground facilities. Secluded coves are to be found south of Torrevieja at La Zenia and Caba Roig.

A local golf course is to be found in Ciudad Quesada consisting 18 holes, another course nearby is at La Maraquesa. Many outstanding golf courses within 30 minutes include championship standard courses at Royal Campoamor, Las Ramblas and Villamartin. Further afield more courses are to be found at La Manga.

Ciudad Quesada

Ciudad Quesada is about 4/5 minutes drive or 10 minutes walk.
Spanish towns of Royales and Benjofar are within 10 minutes drive.
Guardamar is 10 minutes drive.
Torrevieja is 15 minutes drive (supermarkets are about 10 minutes on the route to Torrevieja).
Ciudad Quesada and Dona Pepa II both have local shops, restaurants and bars.
Spanish restaurants and bars can be found nearby in Royales and Benjofar, and along most road routes leaving Ciudad Quesada.

Major locations at Torrevieja, Guardamar, and La Zenia also have many international restaurants and bars.
There are many leisure facilities around the area.

Getting around

There are plenty of shops, bars and restaurants within a 15 minute walk of the villa, but for exploring further afield we do recommend a hire car, as this is usually very inexpensive in Spain and roads are generally good. There are regular bus tours to local attractions if you prefer - please enquire for more details or ask our agents.

Interaction with guest

We live in the UK but our agents live locally in Ciudad Quesada. They will meet you on arrival to show you around the villa and hand over the keys, and again on departure. They are available on the phone if you need them, as are we, but we won't disturb you during your stay unless you ask us to. Our agents can provide airport transfers and other taxi services if you wish, for an extra fee.

“Spacious house with sunny aspect .”

Few minutes walk to two supermarkets bars etc ten minutes into Quesada and ten minutes by car to beach via lemon tree road .aptly named. House had everything we needed and contact with owner and housekeeper was excellent.very clean and well positioned. Would love to go again.
